yeah, it's been said to me before, but I realised it the other day, when yeah, I was made fun of because of being slightly underweight for my age group.

I need ways and ideas to gain 1-2 stones (unusual, i know) and wondered what can i do to do it and how long will it take

i don't want to get fat, i just need to add a bit of weight and still stay healty

+REP for all useful comments and helpful posts

thanks all :)

I would personally try and gain weight but at the same time build muscle. Try going to the gym, or do some home training and start their. Protein i hear helps put on weight too?

id recommend searching google also: http://nutrition.about.com/od/dietsformedicaldisorders/f/GainWeight.htm

Odd question without a doubt usually its how to loose weight, not put it on :D
Both idea are above, just dont get to lazy because when you start exercising again your body will be in shock and will probably get shattered after running 100 metres, Do as you are but either eat a little bit more, try having things that good for you but also contains Fat & Protein

Prime Example:
Milk, Cheese and Yoghurt.

They make your bones stronger, and contain fat and protein.

Someone beat me to it :( Build muscle! :)
Eat loads of meat and carbs, basically things that give you energy but don't eat too much fruit or you'll maintain your weight.

I suggest you look up 'bulking' which is what people tend to do when they want to put on more weight, usually more muscle.

Here is a great starting article.

http://bodybuilding.about.com/od/nutritionbasics/a/bulkingupdiet.htm

Eat alot more protein, and do some good weight training.

building muscle is probably the best way if you want to keep fit

Depends, do you want muscle to gain weight or just fat to gain weight

To gain weight just eat lots of fatty food, chocolate is a good one & muffins. For savory, eat microwave meals and english breakfast everyday.

If you want to build muscle, do above & also eat dairy. After this - exersice

Yeh Im a bit underwieght aswell but idc really,

But If you just wanted to gain weight i would suggest,

eating fatty foods like , Cookies Muffins ect... and do no exercise (Thats The unhealthy option )

Or Just eat more for breakfast lunch dinner I know thats my problem i have a tiny appatite D:

you sound alot like me, except im alot more lazy.
I am currently 54KG's at the age of 15.
you could go to the Gym as people have said but tbh its a bit time consuming.
maybe just do a few couch excercises (youtube them) after sqaush and also try not to snack, thats my biggest problem.
Have maybe Eggs for Breakfast (if you have time), a few sandwiches for lunch (try putting a range of salads and meats in), and have Redmeat few times a week.

That's what I weigh at 20 lol :eusa_danc I'm only like 5'7 though so all good

@Ardemax: how old are you? If you're under 18 I wouldn't really bother with trying to put on loads of weight because it's likely to come in the future naturally anyway, and you don't want to get to your mid twenties and find that you've built up eating habits that put you overweight

I'm 14.

But I'd only like to put on a bit of weight, I'm underweight after all.

Errrm You could try cheese sandwitches,Babybells, youghurt, cheesstrings,

and by all means if you like warm milk you could bring some in, in a flask.

I'm the same as the OP and this quote is pretty much me (I live off milk and I'm the laziest **** you've ever met) but it makes no difference lol

Its not good for you if you eat loads of it but a few slices isnt going to kill you and it will definatly make u gain a bit of weight
