how old are you? Did you buy it or rent it from someone? How much did it cost?

Oh wow, thats... a lot (thats what, 80k+ AUD?

But very nice :)! I'm so glad I don't need a garauntor for my bike loan, and hopefully when I pay it all off I can head onto buying a house or summit.

im at uni at the minute, and weve saved about 10k from last year so its around a 40k mortgage. I guess it seems logiccal to be paying for my own mortgage rather than someone elses.

thanks. And yea, hes my bf. been going out for about 2 and a half year.its a pretty sound relationship. Infact we didnt even realise we could get a mortgage at first because were both on part time jobs. but apparently it goes off the garauntor's wages. :-) i just need to find 700 for solicitor fees now :S

Well if you can't find it all in one lump I am sure they will agree on a monthly payment if you contact them. Great house!

Its in the north-east. And the mortgage payment is around 295 per month, however including bills your looking at around 550. pm. This includes maintenance which is like 500-1k a year, which pays for the concierge and the upkeep of the building. Its all sorted now, just waiting for it to be processed by the solicitors. :-)

I never knew you could get a flat in this day and age for 50k.. unless it's COMPLETELY run down and immense work needs to be carried out.

Are you sure it's not part buy part rent...? I'm absolutely astonish by the price.

Nice little crib you got there. Bit outdated in the kitchen, bathroom a little.. but with a few quid, you'd be surprised what it could do to any place.
