View Full Version : [Bobba] Is the Habbo moderation worse than what it was even half a year ago?

Maybe this is just me, but especially lately I'm seeing literally 5 friends getting banned a week for stupid reasons, and then they all appeal and absolutely every one of them get unbanned. Is my friends luck just bad or has anyone else noticed that Habbo are issuing and then removing a lot more bans than they used to, because the ban reasons were bad/incorrect?

Habbo Moderation has always been terrible in my opinion. It seems now they are unbanning alot more people though.

In the very old days I found it all mysterious and mods were kind of scary in way (they could just appear at any moment or ban you without even being in the room) - obviously this is greatly down to being a noob :P But now I can't take them seriously. They all seem like kids who have grown up playing Habbo who always thought it would be cool to become a mod and throw out bans whenever they feel like. At least back then, it seemed like they were responsible adults.

From personal experience and what I've heard from friends, moderation right now is a joke. Heck I've been banned twice for 'flooding' while using those pet commands... and I know I'm not the only one.

It's always been terrible, and from what my friends are telling me, right from when Hobbas were abolished.
Some MOD's really care about safety, and some don't care a single bit. One Monday afternoon you can get a reply within seconds, another you never get a reply, it's really rubbish
Same goes for the help tool, but it has to be said you get ignored a lot or at least have to wait a few weeks for a reply, and when they are fed up with trying to help you, they just close the case so to speak
Sulake should do more to their employees to keep doing what was in their job prescription, which is obviously to keep Habbo as safe as possible (even I can work that out)

I swear a lot of it is electronic now because I always report trolls in HxHD, one in particular was flooding the URL to pornography. I kept getting messages back saying the situation was resolved and he was never banned:S

Also, I feel the moderators don't interact with the community that much and I never actually ever get to see any moderators. One moderator online at a time isn't efficient enough.

I went through the Moderation list one early morning, after a Habbo was causing disruption. There wasn't even one Moderator online. :P

Habbo MODs and staff are ignorant slobs, they just send you stupid messages back when you ask for help, and they never un-ban you!

Hardly surprising really with the amount of hypocrisy practised by Habbo. They've always said they don't employ Habbos which is a blatant lie. Maybe if they upheld this claim, it may make moderation seem more impartial which would no doubt have a positive effect on the professionalism of it.
