Who's seen it? Its few years old now, so I suspect most of you have seen it. I LOVE this film. Its gotta be my most favourite film of all time! Its just amazing. I prefer volume 1 rather than volume 2.

Also, there are news that volume 3 will be coming out in 2014. Little summary of whats might happen according to the Director.

Basically, Vernita Green's daughter wants to seek revenge on The Bride for killing her Mother. Also, Elle Driver is not dead, seeming as her second eye was ripped out, so technically she could still be alive and the actress playing Elle (Daryl Hannah) would love to come back and film volume 3.

Thats what the director said probably will happen. I'm so excited even though its 4 years away! :P

Quentin Tarantino is an awesome director. Did anyone watch Pulp Fiction? It was on a few days ago.

Quentin said that might be the story if he does it. He said he wouldn't do it for 10 years after the release of Volume 2 if at all. Bthe way, both of Kill Bill's volumes are one complete film; it was shot as a single film but broken up into two parts when distributed.

Quentin says a lot of things and never does them. I can't tell you how many films he's mentioned since Kill Bill that haven't gone further than him speaking about them just once. A lot of people listen to an idea of his and take it to heart that he's actually going to make it. Realistically, his next project will be a prequel to Inglourious *******s, his most commercially successful film. He's also got the script done for it. He's mentioned a lot of his ideas despite wanting to retire at age 60. You can't take anything Quentin says seriously until it's obvious.

I found that aswell. But then I found another website (cant remember as I was researching in school) saying he was planning to shoot and it would be ready by 2014. Its like a news website.. and 10 years would be stupid. Ofc he wouldnt in 10 years.. they would all be old and no-one will be bothered considering Daryl's 49 (nearly 50) ;)

EDIT: LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A VOL.3 CLICK HERE (http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Hannah-Says-Kill-Bill-Vol-3-Is-Happening-Elle-Driver-Involved-16865.html) I did actually have another one I thought I sent in an email, but I didnt.

I am a huge fan of Asian cinema, so when I heard about Kill Bill being this ultimate homage I was quite excited, but in the end I didn't really think much of the films. I've seen them both, I enjoyed them, but nothing more. I don't like Uma Thurman very much and sometimes Tarantino's 'creative filmmaking' does seem a bit pointless. I don't like the fact that Tarantino never uses a composer either. His use of previously composed music, I feel, takes you out of the movie a lot of the time, and it did as such in Kill Bill.

10 years from the second part of Kill Bill is 2014. I won't trust any source until it comes out of either Quentin's mouth or the Weinsteins announce it, even Daryl. Michael Madsen thought he had a prominent role in Inglourious *******s for years...

Tarantino wants to retire at 50? :( But he's only just getting started!

I still have to re-watch Kill Bill in full. I saw the first part at least and I wouldn't say it was amazing - probably bottom of the Tarantino list for me in fact.

I love that!!! It just provides a little bit of variance to the usual soundtracks you hear on films. Reservoir Dogs is a great example. Don't get me wrong, traditional soundtracks can be awesome as well (John Williams is a genius) but the sort of random song choices you get with Tarantino is just fantastic in my opinion. Forrest Gump (and Watchmen I think) were the same. They both had all sorts of almost cliché tracks such as stuff by Hendrix and Lynyrd Skynyrd yet it worked so well.

In Kill Bill, Quentin had original music composed by his best friend Robert Rodriguez's band Chingon for the fee of $1, a favour Quentin returned by charging him $1 to direct one scene in Rodriguez's Sin City in 2005. He also had some music composed by The RZA.

He wanted Ennio Morricone to score Inglourious *******s, but he couldn't because of his schedule. The soundtrack instead features a few Morricone-composed tracks from other films.

He wants to retire when he's 60, Rob.

I loved the way Watchmen used its music, but not so much Kill Bill. At the end of the day I always perfer films by directors who have hired a composer, however. Composers are afterall there to create music to go with whats on screen. The way I see it, music composed just for the film works a lot better than previously composed music meant for something else.

Neversoft, I agree with preferring an original score, but with Quentin being the most unconventional director in Hollywood today, he's the only one in my eyes who can make it work. The soundtrack of Inglourious *******s is, in my eyes, outstanding.

Maybe this will persuade you? Out of Quentin's own mouth. Its all text but if you scroll down to the bottom, theres a video. Its in Italian but when she says "Kill Bill 3" and he says "YES! THE BRIDE WILL FIGHT AGAIN!"

Rewind till about 6 minutes. Click here (http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Tarantino-Promises-Kill-Bill-Vol-3-15004.html)

I mean like literally, like when he confirmed Inglourious *******s after working on the script for 10 years. I know what Quentin's said about it. I'm not disputing your evidence, just going on QT's past! Trust me, I've worked with the man.

Well he's nearly ready to go.. so I suspect he will. ;)

If he does do it, I'd expect an Inglourious *******s prequel to come first.

It probably does work better because as you say, it's created purposely in a 'job production' fashion but when existing music is used, as long as it's nothing that has been created specifically for something else (such as Gary Jules' interpretation of Mad World ), I think it can help scenes to become even more memorable. That's the great thing about how Tarantino does it. I don't think I'd heard any of the music from [I]Reservoir Dogs before I saw the movie because he selects them really well and obviously avoids clichés but now if I hear a song, I immediately associate it with the respective scene.

I really like the music in Kill Bill! Favourites gotta be The Green Hornet & The Lonely Shepard!

Anyway, Q.T said Vol.3 wont be his next movie, but the one after that :P

obviously avoids clichés

Doesn't Tarantino use a lot of music from popular spaghetti westerns? I wouldn't say he avoids cliches.

Oh, well I guess a cliché only becomes one based on your own personal experience :P Actually, are you talking about Pulp Fiction?
