Not a big story, just a local thing. Some girl in my brother's year held a party while her parents were away on the weekend and people got wind of it when they were discussing it on Facebook so about 100 people turned up and demolished the place. Beds were pissed on, the baby's bed was **** on, jewlery and antiques were stolen, they had some samurai swords or something which I dunno what hapened to but you can imagine. From what my brother told me, the pic in that report is nothing compared to what the three floors of the house were like.

Police did a great job;

A spokesman for Merseyside Police said they were called out to the party and then again the next day when items were reported stolen.

serve her right. there's been so many stories like this in the past, so you'd think people would learn from others mistakes.

No sympathy really :/ If she's stupid enough to talk about it publicly on Facebook then it's her fault. It's not hard to make groups/events private...

I feel sorry for the parents though

and oh how clever she is for discussing bout it on fb >.<

I know that if I was talking about this publically on Facebook then it wouldn't be gate crashed because well, I just guess people here know the difference between right and wrong ;). I'm sure that she didnt want 100 people to turn up so sympathy for her and for her parents tbh.

Apparently her friend made an event or something on Facebook. But yeah you would make sure they either made it private or not at all

They are barely a friend if they would do that ;)

The Thing is with hosting house partys they always get out of control unless theres like someone responsible like the person whos having the party cant get mashedddd and fall asleep.

And the other thing is a friend tells a friend tells a friend and so on.

I know a girl who had a house party and these guys came in of the street turned all the lights out and took everything and trashed the house also ew @ the babys bed being **** on D;

I've heard of worse ones like. There was one a while back where some kid had a party in his parent's mansion while they were away and it got trashed by hundreds of people. Just posted this though because it's local to me

Serves them right tbh. Why can't people just be responsible while their parents are gone :S?

lol it was always going to happen if you make it public on facebook and in liverpool i can imagine it being worse not being stereotypical but the people she may have on her fb..

The police shouldn't have anything to do with the stolen items to be fair - it's her fault and a waste of police time :)!

this happens all the time though

the weirdest **** i've heard of is people stealing all the kitchen cutlery, pissing in the kettle and colouring in all the keys on a computer keyboard black........

"His daughter was supposed to be staying away at her friend's house, but sneaked back in for the party."

sneaked back in does not sound right...

her own fault

however that isnt to say having a bunch of friends over while your parents are away isnt really really tempting. but you cant make it a free for all. my friend in high school threw a party while his parents are away, they have an inground pool, and there were empty beer bottles in it for probably like a year afterwords hahaha

If i knew someone holding a party I wouldnt trash the bloody place. It nice enough for someone to put there house out there and host 100 drunk kids for a few hours. But to trash it? I have been to partys that are like that and I usually try to help stop it, If it is too out of control I just peace.

I think that it was a bad idea to put it on fb. Next time the girl should think before she does anything too drastic.

If I posted a party in my house on facebook and randomers showed up I wouldn't let them in, its clearly her fault. Her perants are gonna kill her i'd say.

Lol the vandals weren't her friends! They will have been friends of friends of friends who heard about it or even just passers by. Most of them will have been considerably older than her and her friends anyway (she's about 15).

It only takes one or two to get in then they can let everyone else in, and at parties the (back) door is often just open anyway and you will probably get people climbing over the back fence and stuff I imagine.
