Game is a fail?

Hi, not been on here in a while, been playing MW2 obviously :P
Mkay, the game out in November, the first three weeks it was fun, the graphics seemed better, the gameplay seemed more fun, and gave you more to work for with titles and emblems, and killstreaks seemed amazing and such a good idea, it seemed really good overall apart from slight connection problems.
Since then, theres been one glitch/problem after another, riot shield boosting, akimbo models, the first modded lobbies on rust, the javelin glitch, the connections got even worse for a while, not being able to get in a single game, the care package glitch, prestige lobbies, the new challenge lobbies and score and kill boosting lobbies.
Also, don't even get me started on the spawning system, its just so ridiculously bad, people literally spawning behind you, alll the time, and it seems to do it even more when you're doing quite well.
Don't get me wrong, I still play it, I've just hit the 10 day gameplay mark (:rolleyes:) and somehow managed to get 1.8 win ratio (should be sooo much higher) even when being kicked out of games and getting losses for nothing, and ive got a 1.76 k/d, when being killed from behind from stupid spawns several thousand times, and its good fun, moreso when you're in a full party of friends, because the likelyhood is one of you will get host, and you can set up positions and be sure someones watching your back, but for whats meant to have been the biggest selling entertainment..object(?), i think its been a bit of fail, its just not as good as it should have been, and more and more problems in the game keep being discovered.

IW overdone it, too much things are in this game which can be combo'd up for easy kills. Too many people revenge kill and these combo's make it even easier. AR's have no recoil which equals instant death and the high killstreaks make people camp so hard.

Agreed with this. On PC I rarely get through a whole game now disconnects (server times out) every ******* game.

If it is as bad in the next game, then I would be tempted to stop buying it.

Yeah I heard there were bigger problems on the pc with that iw.net thing? but wasnt sure how bad it really was

Server problems ALL the ******* time. All to try and stop piracy :l

yeah the game could well be classed as a fail because of the spawning spots, glitches and prestige lobbies etc.
i personally like the game as im constantly looking for glitches to get good spots etc.
the next cod defaitnly needs more time taken on it, to stop these lobbies, glitches, elevators and other stupid things.

I agree with everything apart from the bit about titles and emblems seeming like a good idea :P Also it's probably the opposite of a fail given that everyone hates it yet they still play it (as you have shown lol). I'm glad mine broke because I'd probably be the same.

I think they were a good idea, but i think they should have let us customise them, just to like put what text we wanted, or be able to pick 2 or 3 colours.
And yeah thats true, although i only play it because im totally bored of cod4, or else i would go back to that.

other than the normal lag issues, this is the only thing i don't like about this game. sometimes it's alright, but other times the respawn points are just crazy. especially if someone kills you and you respawn around the corner where they were heading. or if you respawn where an airstrike is placed, that's just stupid

i noticed a couple of people talking about lag? i get none what so ever, unless the connection is realy bad like 1 bar or something.

I just saw them as a pointless substitute to achievements. I'm bored of COD4 now myself, but cba getting MW2 fixed/buying a new one so I guess I'll just be spending less time sat in front of my XBOX.

but i agree with you, i don't get lag unless it's like red bar. i've had some of my best games with yellow-light green bars.

I never have a perfect connection, I always get that bullet delay thing where you shoot them first in your screen but they actually shoot you.

You've never played on dedicated servers.

I only hate the fact it's too easy to camp, you can have stupid perk and weapon combos that make you near enough unbeatable, knifing classes are the worst on the game to be honest, so damn annoying and every game seems to have someone knifing, then the spawning points suck so much, yesterday I think it was I was playing, I was killed and spawn in the exact place like 3 enemies also spawned in, was just plain stupid.

Edit - Also IW encoraging noobtubing? Seriously..? It was a problem in MW and it's even worse now, especially when you have to noobtube to get the shotgun attachment, don't see many people using the thumper so much but the javelin which I personally class as a form of noobtubing is also damn annoying. >.<

i think knifing is stupid. i have a tac knife class but in all honesty i only really use it if the enemy is as well. i find it ridiculous how someone can knife through someone shooting at them square in the chest.
