At one time they were considering a new moderator edit system, with these obscure warning box things and other fancy box things to decorate the edit. It's now been decided that we are sticking to the lovely red writing instead. :D

Moderator notices are tacky - and every time a mod leaves/fired you would need to change the html code - or they could abuse it.

Of course I know how to use them. That's what I am saying - you would have to change it every time or people wopuild use them. And how pathetic would that be - having a rule saying not to use a feature..

Yes I agree - don't like them. Some members already think we are robots and those notices would just re-inforce that view. Prefer just the manual edits.
