It's moved to Lido II, tension is building up there :)
You're best doing it in popular rooms as it'll make Habbo look bad to everyone else and the newbies.
Edit: Lido II is also full (Small room capacity), so is the Habbo Library. Large protest in slice of life however.

Why is everyone bloody blaming ludus :l
IT WAS DISCUSSED WITH THE WHOLE HABBO WORLD.
Habbo.nl i think had it done.
Ludus didnt just walk into the office and say-
HA HA LETS PEE OFF THE HABBO UK AND CHANGE THE CREDITS.
It will happen EVERYWHERE.
Stop the Protests, they will get you no-where.

AFAIK NL. has a cost in pixels to exchange coins, which is a far better idea (though no cost is the best). They really should have searched for alternative methods of gaining revenue rather than resorting to these means. At least if you "tax" the purchase of credits, only do it on the larger more convenient amounts. 1c fee on a 1c coin is a 100% increase, how stupid.

Hahahaha now you can't even voice your opinions on what Sulake are doing.
Just proves Habbo's have no control over what happens
E.G: Surveys mean nothing and all Sulake are doing are making money off them, which can be backed up with http://webstore.sulake.com/

Wow I've never seen that before; just shows that with a pixel incentive and some persuasion from a "hotel manager" your information and opinions can be sold. Absolutely crazy.

i know, it's really not that hard to see that Sulake are taking advantage of us all, even the people who spend nothing at allon Habbo - they use a survey which is free to fill in and then sell it on.

They surely must be making more money even though it is the recession. The maintainence cost is low. They make millions every year, so why increase credit prices :S

The Sulake company provides Habbo in over 30 countries, with an estimated revenue of $67,000,000 for 2006. Sulake earns this revenue via four methods; selling in-game credits, website advertisement and sponsorship and Habbo-related merchandise.

Yes you have emphasized my point. Multinational corporations posting tens of millions of quarter revenue do tend to adore profit.

Sulake, has reported a €2.8 million profit for the financial year 2008.
Considering how big the company is, the profit is actually very low.

Unless you put that in USD I'm not going to know how much it is, but I'm assuming it's a heck of a lot less than that 60 or so million they got in 2006.

Revenue and profit are different.
And its
3,793,441 USD.
or
£2,537,782
Either way, its quite low for such a large company.

We were talking revenue before and I assumed. I took 2 economic courses in college and got a 93% on the exam you know!!
They must have one hell of an overhead.

Helsinki, March 30, 2009 – Sulake Corporation, the parent company of Habbo, the world ‘s largest virtual world for teenagers, broke all previous records with sales 20% up in December 2008. As a result the company reached an annual revenue milestone of 50 million Euros (74 million USD) leading to profit; 4.8 million Euros (7 million USD) of EBITDA and a positive net result.
Sorry it turns out its 4.8 million, not 2.8 million Euros.
Now the figures look right for Sulake as 2.8 million euros is quite low for the company. 4.8 isnt bad.
Sammeth.

I looked for Sulake's financial data and I couldn't find it, either I didn't look hard enough or Sulake is a privately traded company. Also, I don't know the rules for posting financials abroad.
