I did wonder why there was no thread. Lampard missed a few good chances there.
What odds could you get?
I forgot cos its closed - something like 8-1

Find it ridiculous how Terry is being boo'd. I knew that it would happen to an extent but when we are loosing it's stupid and petty.
Anyway, England are lacking flair completely but hopefully when Cole and Johnson come back they will provide a bit of width and pace down the flank. Walcott's doing the best he can but there's no-one on the other side.
This would have been a great chance to try the Rooney on his own idea and maybe put Hart in goal to see how he can do but oh well. Supose now we just need to win the game.
We need owen for his dribbling in the box, Hopefully he will have spot in the World cup team

Terrible goalkeeping from their keeper, good shot though took keeper to ground, swp shot straight down the middle but keeper was wrong footed.

Not embarrassing at all. Egypt are a good side, just the English media under estimate any team from Africa for some reason.

Egypt are 10th in the world 2 spots behind England so wouldn't have been embarrassing although Lampard really should have scored, twice.

Yeah we should have got more goals than we did. :P
All in all not a bad game, I think SWP and Crouch booked themselves a World Cup place in that game.

Crouch probably. SWP has helped his case but still with: Lennon, Walcott, Young, SWP, Downing, Milner, J.Cole, Beckham kind of all fighting for the wingers places then it still could be hard. But he put in a good shift and I'd say he'd be over Walcott at the moment but it depends on his form for City.

If Lennon is fit he has to go IMO, same thing Becks, SWP, Milner, and J Cole, is there room for SWP? what about Downing?

How? Walcott started tonight and (in the words of a Arsenal fan) "he's been nothing short of utter gash".

How what? I said that SWP would be over Walcott at the moment as in he'd be prefured to Walcott.

Yeah you said he'd be ahead of Walcott at the moment however you then went on to say 'but it depends on his form at City'. This sounds like you're saying if he drops form at City he'd go below Walcott, regardless of how gash he is.

Crouch should start, Milner should (atleast when Lennon is out), Gerrard should keep his role on the left wing regardless of what Joey Cole is up to. Job done. This managing lark is easy.

Oh I meant that if he goes to the WC or not depends on his form at City. I didn't mean if his form drops Walcott will go over him but obviously if Walcott suddenly preforms really well for Arsenal and SWP doesn't play for City much then Walcott will still have a shot.
