Do you desperately have to have that notebook? It's quite alot for what appears to be not alot.

Its a luxury product like the macbook air or the dell adamo. I wouldn't even seriously consider it unless you have the money to blow!

Oh no no no! Sounds to expensive for what it is, I wouldn't bother to be honest.
But you could always check out Ebay or Amazon, see what they have to offer.

It's a shame you can't use M & S staff discount on electricals.

Wow thats the worst price/performance ratio I've seen in a LONG time.
Ill second this, I actually had to read the post again as I did not believe the ridiculous cost for the spec :P

I refer to my previous post, throwing a cursory glance to the macbook air and dell adamo.
Yeah but with those products you are paying for the thinness of the product as a specific feature of said product.

With this one you're paying for the form factor.
Since I can't actually find anything much about the product the OP is referring to I'm going to go ahead and assume it is a netbook. You can find much, much better value netbooks :P

i would recommend the Samasung NC10 Netbook, but 10.1" screen and only £259 (I think in PC World) but only 160GB HDD and 1GB RAM - HDD, can buy portable for about £60 for 500GB and RAM upgrade is £30 for 2GB one from Amazon
It's smaller than a netbook and thinner I think.
