i was replacing my head light unit cos it was cracked blah blah, go round the car thinkin yea ill check my bulbs work etc, and wot do i see? some ******s crashed into the back of my car durin the night and dislodged my bumper and smashed in the rear light unit, the rest was on the floor :(

Unlucky mate! Especially if they didn't leave a note, how rude.

Shouldn't be a need to claim, just replace the headlight lens and reattach the bumper if its not overly damaged.

Nobody ever leaves a note on a windscreen if they know they haven't been spotted. It's harsh, but they're all ******s. Don't bother claiming, it'll be lots of hassle and higher premiums. Just buy a new light and a bumper if you can't repair it. It might be quite expensive but it's cheaper than your insurance going up :P
