Today at school I stupidly joined a competition with a friend to see who can get the best six pack before May this year. Stupid, I know, but I guess I have to do my best to win.

Basically, I want to know how I should get a six pack. My friend has said we are not allowed to use weights or any other objects to get a six pack. At the moment, I'm pretty thin so I just need to tone up the muscle. What would be the best way? I've read wikihow articles, but I want to know first hand off people who have experience, like you!

I'd just follow that program rather than doing x amount per day :)

Do a bunch of core exercises, this will help you build ab muscle. You must also eat properly. Nutrition is the number one thing to getting abs.

You can even do squats (if you wanna cheat). Anyways, goodluck!

Replace all fattening/high carb/sugary foods with proteins, like meat, eggs and fish. Do about 50 crunches / 50 reverse crunches a day to start with then gradually increase 50 to 60, then 60 to 70 etc.

Also, drink plenty of water instead of fizzy drinks.

DONT DO CRUNCHES. They only work the upper portion of your abs and ultimately do nothing for you. I reccomend working the lower and middle abs. Lay on the ground, tilting your upper body up, and lift your legs from the ground. Pull one in towards your bod while extending the other, and repeat. Do this, keep hydrated, don't eat sweets. Work on your side obliques as well by twisting your upper body back and forth. Works really well.

Starting tomorrow. Going gym at 8.30 - 10pm. Do the crunches after or before like how the YouTube vid says

This is going to sound weird but appenently there is a product that you lay on your stomach and tan with it.....

The tan lines then look like abs :P

Not the best idea lol but crunches crunches crunches my friend!

I don't tend to eat chocolate or fatty foods, but I hate most meat too. I love eggs and fish, though. And OK.

Also, I only have a can of coke like, once a week. lol (:

Lose enough body fat and your abs will show. Doing endless crunches like people, expecially wayne (50 a day will do nothing for you) have suggested will not work.

Everyones born with the muscles, its just the amount of fat covering them, and how much you actually work the muscles to make them show clearly, but that video is a big help!

Abs, unlike most other muscles, will hardly increase in size at all with training, only strength.

You can do the ab workouts as much as you want, but you still wont get any abs showing unless you lose the fat.

That means doing cardio and improving your diet.

Seriously though you should get down to a gym.

Why cant you use weights for your back, chest and arms & legs?

It will make you look more proportioned and not just a skinny ****!!
