Also, would it be possible to display moderators on the side like before as it was much more neater that way. Also remove the moderator group from the staff list, as it lists a bunch of people who just have mod rights in their own staff forums etc. From the last post there also seems to be a problem with pictures re-sizing themselves? Also I don't like the new userbars they look very cheaply made! Even the old ones seem much better, so at least revert to those.

Another request, is it possible to have the Quick Reply box at the bottom as a permanent thing so its always here and we dont have to click a button for it to come up?

Maybe even replace the REPLY link with the "Go Advanced" link so people who always use advanced can use it. And people who like QR can have another button or use the one at the bottom like on v3.

Originally this final style was slightly different but altered so they stick out less on the non-habbo skins and possibly some new, future skins. For most of the staff images on the bars it was pretty easy but when you've only got I think 16x18 pixels to play with to make an image its pretty hard. The VIP bar is a present as now it is only given out for winning something on the forum or part of a competition. I'm not to sure how open Jin is to changing them as the present was his idea but I guess we could always look into the possibility of different images for VIP? :)

I think the problemwith the VIP one is because it is dark and fills the space pretty well and just blurs into the surrounding colour, not really sure what else could be use really.

I think the new bars suit the new look forum a lot better than the old ones. Almost all the buttons and things like that are a lot more Habboy now and I think the user bars are aswell which go well with each other. I think the main problem is just the image on the VIP bars and I don't think changing it to the star would be a good idea really, or unless it was a different style star.

Quite a lot of the icons on all the skins are custom made by myself. Others are from freely available iconsets. :)

Because when you put an image in a post by clicking the button, you have to select whether you want to retrieve the file and reference it locally, or just use the link, the default is the former.

Haven't read all the posts here and I hate to conform to the fashion of just automatically taking a disliking to change, but I have to agree everything seems really chunky - almost a step back from the maturity Habbox usually holds above other fansites. But that being said, it is a Habbo fansite after all and I still think it looks better than the other ones out there (very pleased that a minuscule default font size in posts has been avoided). And of course, there are still more skins to come so I think it's fair to say a very nice job has been done in revamping the forum and I look forward to the return of my beloved Retro Blue. :D

I don't find it a major problem not knowing but i don't want to trek around profiles for the sake of a simple piece of information i like to know.

But I must say, the new skins do look fantastic and I'm pleased to see the forum looking fresh and up to date. It was starting to look really old and stale. Personally I'd leave the old skins in the past and move on with the future, but it won't harm me that they are there. But I certainly won't be using them now we have this shiny new version to go on.

Yeah I think maturity was a selling point for habbox once upon a time but it only appeals to older and/or more mature members, big boxes with pretty patterns and bright colours appeal more to habbo's core audience so in theory it should bring in and keep more members. I'll sacrifice not being chunky for that :P

Thanks. It took me a while to design the skins etc but after 5 sleepless nights, I finally did it. And because I am so kind, I gave Jamesy most of the credit and Oli some for bringing me coffee.

Why doesn't it remember the forums I choose to hide? It keeps resetting them to show all whenever I leave the main forum and it really bugs me. I never want to see the Habbo, Graphics or Trading forums and I usually have Habbox and the Feedback forums hidden too (except when things are borked :P).

Yes I have cleared my cookies and cache, it did nothing except irritate me because I have to go log into all my accounts on all my websites again >.<

It seems this is a bug in vB and isn't limited to us. It's kind of luck of the draw it seems :(

Get a screenshot of the this skin, get a screenshot of the old one, put them side by side and keep changing the new one until it looks exactly like the old skin. That's the only specifics I can give.

As Jewishbear has made previously used insights to the vbulletin styles I think it would be a good idea (providing that he wants to) if he took on the job of editing the flaws and quirks in the current styles and with vbulletin in general. He's certainly proven himself knowledgeable of web design in the past.

vB4 uses css instead of images in far more places. It's impossible to put all the old images back, at the very least a difficult job that will cause more problems than it solves.

Grr I think I just posted something user-bar-related in the wrong thread: in the Bugs thread I mentioned the way some avatars go above the user-name instead of left of it. I think it's due to to way some user-bars stack horizontally instead of vertically.
