New Smilies Please

Can we please get back the old smilies or bigger ones?
Not really easy to see these ...

I agree they ones just now are horibble i really don't like them so some new ones would be goood!

We still have the little yellow animated ones and the blue ones if you click "more" on advanced mode.
We are retrieving our old default ones also, and looking into getting some new ones.

we do need some new ones made. i made these ages ago, but was never got back to. some similar ones would suit all the skins quite nicely i think

To contradict what I've said in previous threads on this topic; I don't think the old smilies fit in any more. I quite like the new ones but they would be miles better if they were slightly bigger (and more rounded).

the colours used for the face, and the colours of the facial expression are very similar. They are also a bit small

The faces are yellow and the features are brown. They're about the same size as the other ones which were added and aren't hugely smaller than the current ones but more importantly, they look modern and suit the new skins very well.

i think you can see that they are a lot harder to see. Browns and yellows are very close to each other on the colour spectrum

i think they look alright, but i still think some bigger, more savvy ones would look better. Ones that make use of PNG transparency like the ones i posted on page 1

Yeah, I do like the ones you posted. Much more modern and dynamic, but I think they're... too big, especially along side text they would look kinda silly. :P

You're clearly exaggerating. They're not at all hard to see - it's not like you're trying to read a map fgs! They suit these new skins infinitely better than those outdated 2D-looking ones. If/when the old skins return, I might change my mind (again), but I still think it would be a lot better to have those as the default main ones and have the old brown ones just with the rest in the main smilies window.
