Yh not enough O2 will diffuse into the water
What if i just let some water out so the surface of the water is bigger?
Still not too sure. Its the fact that its not got a very big hole for air to get into it, so even when the wind blows it will be hard for it to get in
Hmm i'll have to find summit, they are swimming round the top alot. I'll see what i can do after work, i let some water out.
you could maybe have some plant life in there, that would give them a pretty huge amount of O2, especially with it being glass
Thanks for the tips :)
They seem alot more lively now i've let some water out, a woman at works giving me her old tank and filter n stuff so its all gravey as long as they last over the next day lol x

Good to hear. You don't want to kill the fish :P

Why not just but a cheap tank :S they'll probably die and then you'll have to spend more to buy more.

Surely you are not leaving them outside in the middle of a garden?

This I hope.
If you really can't get a proper tank, get an air pump or something.

Aww that's such a cute tank
But just get some plants (real) as they will provide the fish with some oxygen. They should'nt die but if you can't take a risk, get a cheap water tank with maybe a small filter & light etc, but this isn't majorly important as they are only goldfish

There are many problems with keeping goldfish in there. With that many fish, the build up nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia will be fast and hit like a semi-truck. Lack of filtration means the water will not cycle and frequent water changes will be necessary. Keeping fish in that container is also bad because it distorts what they see and stresses them out. With leaving them outside, if you are, you are bound to get algae if your fish don't die. When keeping fish too, it's important to remember about an inch of fish per gallon, even less for goldfish, and I don't think that little container is more than 1 gallon. Are you using a water conditioner to remove the chlorine?

see if you can attach a water pump and filter into it somehow, that'll keep the circulation going :)
