Anyone here actually into musicals? If so post your personal favourite or favourite song from a musical etc

Defying Gravity from 'Wicked', All That Jazz or Cell Block Tango from 'Chicago' and On My Own from 'Les Miserables'.

Edit: Oh and Come What May from 'Moulin Rouge' :D

I love "Wouldn't it be lovely" and "I could have danced all night" from My Fair Lady.

"Mister Cellophane", "Roxie" and "All that Jazz" from Chicago.

Can't get much better than the Blood Brothers tracks, or Joseph for that matter.

In terms of contemporary musicals, I love We Will Rock You.

I've seen WWRY 3 times, Chicago twice, Blood Brothers & Joseph in London.

Then most other musicals scattered around other places.

I'm quite heavily in to musicals, been in quite a few myself over the years, not professionally. My favourite is by far Rent. The story and music is absolutely amazing. I've included a list below of my favourites, in no particular order :)

Ohh you're my favourite!! I LOVE RENT! No wrds can explain it. I like Wicked and Les Mis too. Haven't seen the others.

I must have seen Rent as a film about 30 times and I've seen it in the theatre by a semi-professional company. It was amazing. A lot of my friends were in it :)

Yeah I've seen the film countless times. Once by a semi-professional society but unfortunately they didn't meet my (and everyone elses) expectations.
