ever read it? if you have what were your thoughts on it?
its way above my reading level and its short and looks interesting so I'm reading it to impress my teacher :D

for some reason our district is OBSESSED with these quizzes called Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes so we have to take one every month and we're supposed to pick "challenging books". Surprisingly enough I actually know how to read, sorry to disappoint you teachers, so this is completely pointless but I needed a "more challenging book". apparently. I tried reading a fifth grade level book that I read last year too and it wouldnt let me take a quiz so I had to have my friend help me on one ;l ye I'm bad LOL. anyways if you liked it, disliked it, whatever leave your comments ;D

also if you'd like to recommend a book from this list that'd be great :D

Don't watch the film version of the book :P That's my advice. Well you can but do remember it was made back in 1966! I read it for English about 4 years ago. Was an interesting and weird book in a way.

I the read George Orwell's '1984' afterwards (just out of interest myself) and found that fascinating :P

Good luck reading the book though and maybe once you read the book, watch the film to maybe help clear up some things ;)

watched the film for a module im doing at uni.

very much a film makers film, full of conventions and narratives that for me make it pretentious.

message of the book is very interesting though as im a big 1984 fan.
