2-1 against Blackburn at the mo.
Howard Webb denied Bale a blatent penalty... if he though he dived why wasn't he booked?
Samba climbed all over Dawson to head in their goal, Crouch always gets penalised for that.
edit: 3 -1, Pav. (After ******* up in front of goal)
edit edit: Blackburn denied a legit goal.
God Webb is awful.

Well our ref is crap. Offside for there penalty. Then Boateng hit Bendtner in the face and somehow he's not sent off and instead Both guys are yellowed. Then Clichy was fouled in the box and no penalty, although he didn't appeal.
EDIT: he's off now anyway.
2-2, was the best home derby i've been too, best atmosphere this season. completely outplayed them as well, shame we couldn't get the 3 points!

I honestly don't know why Bendtner was yellowed.

Arshavin's misses are unbearable.

Beat Colchester 2-1 at home. Ref was diabolical, felt like we were playing against twelve men for most of the game. Taiwo's second yellow was debatable to say the least. Thought we'd do our usual caving in job when we conceded but we showed some spirit and fought back for once. A great result against a team at the top who, to be honest, didn't actually threaten that much. Eleven points above the drop zone now so looking comfortable for now at least.
CHA!NGANG
13-03-2010, 07:52 PM
Yeah Arshavin is normally a deadly finisher but recently he's missed some sitters. The goal was good though. We really needed to win that so glad we did but it shouldn't have been that close. The pitch was terrible though and we should have played Walcott earlier.

Beat Huddersfield 3-1 and ended their unbeaten home record.

tbh, if Liverpool out-due Chelski and Man Utd, Arsenal will win the title.
Plus we have to play Chelsea yet - 3rd April I think it is.
and lmao at Brian Jensen, what made him head butt Kevin Doyle :L

He had a good FA Cup run last season.
StefanWolves
14-03-2010, 01:09 PM
is that it?
gosh hes worse than hennessey and thats saying something...
Smits
14-03-2010, 01:28 PM
Yeah thats pretty much it.
He pretty much kept us in the FA cup and played really well, especially against arsenal.
This season though, terrible, he can't catch, pushes balls into the middle and well, headbuts players.
I call for weaver, but i cant say he'll be much better.
we'll give you brad jones for free and he'll make jensen look world class.
CHA!NGANG
14-03-2010, 01:38 PM
Anyone want Almunia?

CHA!NGANG
14-03-2010, 02:05 PM
No ta. I'd rather just stick Vermaelen in goal. He can play as a striker, midfield player, full back, CB, so I'm sure he'll make a decent keeper too.
StefanWolves
14-03-2010, 02:28 PM
I'm sure Hennnessey would be better as a striker than a goaly.
Arron
14-03-2010, 04:30 PM
when Burnley go down, i hope Jensen doesnt go down with them :)
he could be arsenal's new keeper

Oh my, if City lose this, and they and Villa win all their games in hand they'll be level on points with Spurs... interesting!
CHA!NGANG
14-03-2010, 04:42 PM
Liverpool will only be 4 points behind you lot so don't rule them out either just yet.
And as much as I don't think Almunia is very good, I don't think that a keeper who just got relegated is good enough for a CL side really although he is probably a decent mid-table keeper.
Geraint
14-03-2010, 05:13 PM
Hennessey isn't a bad keeper.

Drew 1-1 with Everton come back from 2-0 and we could have snatched a win we played realy well, had to defend loads in the last few mins though.
Happy with a point
And Adam Johnson, take a bow.

That's all that was running through my head second half.

Nah, the way he bent it in, he obviously wanted it at back post to be nodded in, but he'll never admit that now, like.

A side fighting for a CL place were close to loosing to a side who are struggling to stay in the Premiership. That's £170 Million for ya.

Johnson has been immense since he joined City. He has really surprised me, and now that Becks is out of the WC, England should take him. He can play on the left too.
CHA!NGANG
14-03-2010, 11:46 PM
He's a good player and one for the future but then again has hasn't been capped for England and has only had a few months in the PL although then again that never stopped Walcott. It could happen you never know but I think that there are others infront of him at the moment especially in the Wings position but I'm sure he'll be in the frame by the next WC or even the Euros.
StefanWolves
14-03-2010, 11:49 PM
I like him, he's very versatile, gives his all, works his ass off too. And comes up with some brilliance. He's a very handy player even now, but he could get so much better.

"That would be against the rules of association football!" :L:L:L
We've got next year's Championship leaders at home tonight. Perhaps the 3 points will be a small consolation for them with their 10 point deduction?

he's naturally a left sider player lol. he's only had so much practice on the right because boro played him there a couple of times as we had downing mainly on the left, although they were very capable of switching flanks as johnson has a peach of a right foot on him. about taking him to the world cup, i'd love it if it happened as i've always been his biggest fan but i would be extremely surprised if capello jumped on the bandwagon that easy, despite his experience with the u21s. he was loved at boro because he wasn't just a class act who scored a lot of goals and created a lot of goals for us, but he constantly grafted and put a days shift in which is all you can ask for a footballer. he was always trying to curl shots in for the boro so i would very surprised if it was a shot. lmao it sounds like i adore him but i just cannot speak any higher of the lad.

No... I was pretty amused at how a team who has spent millions and millions of pounds were struggling to beat a Sunderland team who has won one match in their last 16 :L
Don't suppose you were there either.

There wasn't any available for me, i didn't even see that they went on general sale.
I had nobody to go with.
I have also had absolutely no money for the last 2 weeks, i had to borrow some just to cater for mothers day.
And don't start turning this round on me just because you're a little ratty that your team conceded a later equaliser.
