...Is not that bad. I'm not getting carried away after his hat-trick, but I think he gets a lot of bad rep. He works well in Arsenal's current system as a target man (the only guy who could play that role), he's big, holds the ball up well and I think we all forget, he's like 12 or something. If his finishing was better I think he'd be a class player and he has time to work on it.

Yeah he is a decent player, but when he misses so many chances, he's bound to get criticised.

I agree but he is to big headed...

Yeah he has the biggest Ego in football but that's not really a bad thing. Take the other game where he missed everything. Most players would be down after that. He just ignored it then scored a hat-trick. I think his ego will improve him. Saying that, he will never be the player he thinks that he is although I think he will in 5 years time be a very good striker. He's only 22 at the moment and he has all the basics for a good player. His finishing is very poor though at the moment and like Rooney did with his heading, Bendtner seriously needs to work on that.

I think the lad is awful, i realy do.

He's abysmal.

The lad is awful eh? How come? Heskey has fashioned an international career from being "awful." Bendtner works in a system well, even if he's not the sharpest finisher.

Give him 20 chances and he'll score 1. Heskey is also abysmal.

Overrated. Although I do like him for some reason lol

When we played Egypt we tried Rooney upfront with Defoe. Nothing came off for us, infact, we were losing. Then, Fab Cap brought Crouch, a target man, on and he won the game. It's the importance of players like Crouch, Heskey and Bendtner to their teams that wins them matches.

He is very very underrated, if not hated by most people.

His performance is improving lately but he's not going to be as good as the likes of Arshavin or Fabregas

LMAO.

Crouch is in a different class to Heskey. Heskey is useless. Bendtner is borderline useless. Crouch + Rooney = Thumbs up. Crouch + Defoe = Thumbs up. Heskey plus anyone is just LMAO.

Bendtner is also 6-7 years younger than either of them :P

There's time for him, that's sure. But he's so wasteful it's unbelievable. Blah blah blah he scored a hatrick but he must've missed about 60 chances the Saturday before.

He needs to go out on loan again, as with Vela.

CHA!NGANG

Aye he does waste a lot of chances but that's something he can work on. Vela won't get a game when RVP is back and if we get Chamakh so yeah I think he should but not Bendtner as he gives us something different.

Peter Crouch is a good player though. Bendtner isn't.

I hate it how people stereotype Crouch, people automatically think ''*** he's so tall he's ****e with his feet!!'', no he's not, it's the other way round.

I agree, he always climbs on people when he's jumping in the air.

Crouch is amazing, Heskey is a donkey and Bendtner is ****e.

I dont hate him he helped us out in the Championship and when i seen him playing for us i actualy thought he was going to turn into somthing decent, but i realy dont rate him.

Maybe he will be better in the future.

Yeah lol. The comparison with Heskey is a good one - both are lucky to make something out of 1/10 chances. In fact Heskey is actually useful in a more mid-fielding sort of way.

How is that anyway linking to my post? I said that it's the importance of players like Bendtner, Heskey and Crouch to a system that wins games. I never said Bendtner would set the world alight, but like Fletcher, he'd do a job in a system and his team will win games.

Emile Heskey isn't that bad to be fair.
