Torn his Achilles Tendon.

Could easily rule him out of the world cup.

He's out for up to three months, and is going for an op in Finland on Monday. There is some confusion though, BBC are reporting that he is 'likely' to out of the WC, whilst Sky are reporting 'he is' out of the world cup.

I think he's out though, not to much of a big miss IMO, he was never going to be a starter and would just be their for his good attitude.

Although I am very gutted for him, great role model for anyone, and really didn't deserve it, its a shame, yes, but loosing Beckham isn't everything.

I don't think it will harm England's World Cup chances much, if at all. He'll still be in South Africa hanging with the squad I'm sure and he was only ever gonna be a bit part player.

If it were at all possible to get back to fitness in time for the World Cup, I'm sure he would even pay for it himself if he had to.

You want pictures of my Orient season tickets? I have 12 in my bedroom at present - if anyone watches football more than once a year on this forum it is me and a few others. And ferdinand is ****? He is always 'injured' when it helps him. If I could choose one of Englands well known players to **** off, it would be him.

I went off on you onthe above post, but nice to see you to realise why people love him. His crossing and playon the wing is immense. Far, far better than ANY England player.

I'm not being bias because Lennon belongs to Spurs, but you have to be crazy. Johnson is good, but not as good or experienced as Lennon. He's improved alot this season. 3 goals and 9 assists in 18 games isn't bad.
