Can you not get another android phone? Until windows phone 7 comes out android and iphone OS are the best OS's out atm (except maybe the webOS, have you considered the palm pre?), windows mobile and symbian are sluggish and not really optimised for touch screens and blackberry OS isn't all that good either.

Windows Mobile on the HTC HD 2 looks fantastic.

I couldn't speak more highly of the HTC Touch Pro 2, absolutely fantastic phone. And of course there is an upgrade to WinMo 6.5 on htc.com :D

The keyboard and build in general is remarkable, another bonus is, it's a particularly rare phone with very few about.

HTC Touch Pro 2 is good, but unfortunately it runs Windows Mobile 6.5. So I would never suggest getting a windows mobile phone.

Right now, I suggest either waiting for Windows Phone 7 Series or get an Android Phone.

Blackberry OS is good but I don't see the point of the OS going mainstream, I still find it's a phone that you should only have if you are a businessperson with the Push Email etc...

I like what is coming in Symbian^3 so if you can wait for Nokia's new devices then I would do that, but currently the N97 is extremely lackluster, and I love the phone, and it is the phone I use most. But I've got to say it will get on your nerves sometimes as the Software and Hardware really can't cope with each other.

Milestone I would HIGHLY recommend and you can get it FROM FREE on T-Mobile - here - http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=196770

HTC Touch Pro 2 no question out of those.

At the above post, why would you get a milestone, or any smart phone at that if the contract is not unlimited internet? If youwere to get a milestone, I would recommend getting it from Carphone Warehouse, but out of the phones you posted HTC Touch Pro 2 ANYDAY. I was going to get it, but could nly get it on P2G

If you had seen the link you would of seen "Motorola MILESTONE + T-Mobile 35 Voice + Unlimited Internet" You get Unlimited Internet....?

And HTC Touch Pro2 is awesome don't get me wrong, but it just runs the wrong software.

I'd recommend waiting for the HTC Legend or Desire, as they're both good looking Android handsets.

Failing that, HTC Hero, Milestone, or an HTC HD2.

Windows Mobile on the HTC HD 2 looks fantastic.

It needs scrapping they STILL have some old archaic bits from older versions of it with tiny scroll bars and stuff. WP7 can't come soon enough tbh, shame I won't be able to port it to my omnia :(

TP2, because you can run Android on it. Anything else right now is crap.

N900 is actually really epic, the Maemo operating system is a really good operating system for phones and is well worth investing in, but then again Nokia said today that they are unsure whether or not it'll be updatable to MeeGo. MeeGo is looking great, so you may want to wait for that? :)

The TouchPro2 can also run Ubuntu but it's only advised to install another operating system over the Windows Mobile if the user of the phone is competent.

Isn't the N900 a small tablet with phone capabilities rather than a smartphone? Just saying it might not be the ideal phone experience :)

Well you could say that, but it's phone capabilities are actually really good, so there is no reason it can't be classed as a smartphone.

Size and form factor, if you're happy holding it up to your face go for it :) I'd recommend going to a phone shop and trying one first though!

It's not for everyone, but it's just a bit bigger than the iPhone, and about as fat as the N97 lols
