Everyone has to pick 3 or 4 GCSE options to carry on in year 10 & 11
Also, everyone (or the one they least enjoy) has one or more they regret taking - which one is yours?
Mine has to be Spanish. It's really hard & you have to remember loads of writing for the final exams.

I'm not sure what the scottish equivalent of english GCSEs are but I think it's standard grades/ int 2s. If that is the case then probably spanish. They made taking a language compulsory in our school and I got A1s in every other subject except spanish, for which I achieved no grade lol. Admittedly I could have achieved a high pass if I tried but it was more out of spite than anything else, not that my failing has changed the system in any way.

German. Why the hell did I ever take German? S'pose because it was quite easy pre-GCSE. Guess it could have continued to be easy if I actually tried. I just messed around all the time, lol. Oh well, it was fun.

naw i made the sig lol.
i'm the same. coursework is my strong point as i can improve and improve until i get a decent grade, whereas in an exam you've got one shot and if you don't do well then tough luck! the same with electronics where i got an A* in the coursework, and a C overall. the coursework was worth 60% lol...

ICT and Systems & Electronics
Aha.
French fer sure. It was awful. Although I did spend two years terrorising the teacher and getting a lot of fun out of it, so it's not too bad!

Same as this :P I hated French but I wanted to learn it. I'd like to say it was worth it and I can speak some French but I'll tell you this - sitting in a classroom definitely is not an effective way of learning a language.

For my VCE (the highest level of secondary school education you can get in victoria) i don't really regret taking anything. I did do a lot of easy subjects though, like wood-work, photography, german and IT (that was major bludge)... =s

Art.
There was wayyyyyy too much work and I have to work really slowly when it comes to Art so it took extra time :(
Art, This teacher I had was so annoying and onl favoured certain pupils, sadly I wasn't one of them, so she never tried her best to help when I needed it.

I don't have a GCSE regret, but I have an A-Level regret. Physics, wish I'd dropped so I wouldn't have a U on my education record :S. There was only 4 people in my class and the 1 person who passed got an A, the rest of us got U's xD!

Double Science? Don't you HAVE to do that?
In my school everyone does double, and some us who are bright do triple?

I have 2 options. Business and Communications and an It Diploma worth 7 GCSEs alone (took up 2 options, go to college all day)
Don't regret taking any of them. Doing well in both.

French and food tech. I *Removed* a round in both of them and still got good grades though. (Well a C in french isn't good but I suppose most people are happy with that).
