Run PC Through TV As Moniter

hey guys, small problem

i recently go hold of a pc, but my roon is v.small so i dont have room to put a standard moniter, but i though no problem i will run it through my TV.

Now i have tried many diffrent ways of connecting it. because the tv does not have VGA Or S-Video

So i tried VGA to Scart, no look

VGA to HDMI, Didnt work

this is really starting to annoy me because i have a PC Running Windows 7 that i cant use and im stuck on a crappy XP Notebook

The PC has a crappy graphics card to, no HDMI Outputs,

What should i do?

Pick up a cheap graphics card. If you just need a graphics card to display the image and for everyday work, then get http://www.ebuyer.com/product/190727 , as this has an HDMI port, so all you'd need is a lead long enough. It's not the best graphics card in the world, but should be suitable for everyday usage and such. If
What computer is it, and specifically, what motherboard?

Bear in mind, your TV may only display the screen properly at specific resolutions. My Samsung HD ready TV will ONLY work at 4 resolutions, so bear this in mind.

Also remember that the adapters could be faulty, the leads you were using could be faulty, and the sockets themselves on the TV could also be at fault too.

Or a DVI port - can be converted to HDMI simply.

But try using a VGA>DVI adapter and then DVI>HDMI first.

VGA -> DVI -> HDMI will not work. HDMI is digital only.

i wanted to do this along time ago but never got round to it.
my lcd is made by "technika", i guess they never thourght about added a VGA input, just HDMI but my desktop doesnt have HDMI, only my laptop, which happens to be a widescreen, so no resolutions fit the tele perfectly, realy annoying.

just buy a monitor, im going to lmao.

Apparantly it works with Windows 7. This goes by the reviews for this product on Newegg, and people say they've got it to work on there.

And I've just found drivers off of the Asus website, for both Windows 7 32 and 64 bit. Just go to Asus's website and the graphics cards section, then AGP, then click on the HD 3450.

Alternatively, you could just buy a small cheap monitor. 17" monitors are available at pretty much dirt cheap prices at the moment.

Oh, and your motherboard, in case you want to know for any future upgrades, is an MSI P4MAM2-V also known as an MSI MS-7095 (the number imprinted on the board). Technical specs and compatibility for processors is available on MSI's site.

i got this wonderful USB tuner that used to work wonders with my old Windows XP box, but unfortunately I'm unable to obtain Windows 7 drivers for today. It doesn't say who manufactures it, but it looks like this:
