lessons with an instructor? i had maybe 3-4? I dunno how it works in the UK but in Aus whenever i felt like i was ready I could go for it. But they have changed it and now you need 120 hours experience (with any driver)

Around 12 lessons at 1.5 hours per lesson, plus 1 hour before test meaning 19 hours in total.

Can't remember to be honest. I passed my test on my second try though. I was too stressed the first time and the examiner was a ***** (not just my opinion xD!), she kept looking at her breats >.>.
