We were talking about if Rooney was better than Messi in another thread.
Yeah Messi is a better player because he gets goals, makes goals, and then makes his own goals himself so he edges it but Rooney is getting closer.

Been injured and suspended a bit too much this season so far but he's on 22 goals and 4 assists in 25 games this season so not too bad either.

Why do you always repeat what commentators say? it gets quite annoying hearing it repeated by you.

I was hoping nobody else would pick up on this because it's given me the giggles for the past few weeks.

I still think Ronaldo's better than him myself. Until he proves himself against English opposition then my opinion will not change. I don't care about that header about United.
If anyone can prove me wrong but I can't remember him playing too well against English teams.

But geraint, you could now say the same about Ronaldo. ;)

What else have I said that's been repeated by commentators out of intrest? And ok so you're telling me that he doesn't make his own goals for himself then?

I'm not arguing that, what I'm arguing is that it feels like we have our resident Andy Gray on the forum.
