I haven't worn my retainers for almost a year now since I lost them, and some of my teeth have started to move back.

I really don't want to go back to my orthadonist, because I know he'll get really angry with me. I'm just wondering if I do go back, will it be likely that I'll have to get braces again?

And if I decide not go back to my dentist, is it likely that my teeth will keep moving?

He might get angry with you because its your responsibility to go to him if you have lost them.
It really depends on how much they have moved. I just had to redo my mould but that was because they hadnt moved much.
If you dont go back then its almost definate that your teeth will keep moving because they have nothing to support them so i really reccomend you seeing your orthodontist again :)

It depends how much your teeth have moved tbh. You might have to get braces again, but assuming you got them on the NHS the first time round you're quite unlikely to get them for free again.

In some cases teeth move back a little bit anyway even after wearing a retainer for the required amount of time, like I have a permanent retainer or mine would move back, but I really think you need to go to your orthodontist. In the future you might regret not going just because you're scared of them getting angry!

I absolutely recommend you going back right away. Braces make your teeth loose and the retainers are there to help strengthen them again - loose teeth + no support = teeth even worse than before you had braces.
