Why you like Habbox Forum

Attempting to find out the reasons for people to choose this forum particularly.

I use habboxforum because its a community of people with a similar level of intelligence to mine and the majority share similar interests. It is one of few forums which caters to more than one area with such a large userbase. Users are mostly in my age group.

i don't have a clue really. my fondness of the forum has incredibly decreased over the past year or so, but i don't feel like leaving because i've been here for so long and occasionally the forum is pretty decent.

I love how it's friendly and mostly polite discussion not some e-famous wannabes ruining it. I love the staff here, especially the comps staff ofc :P

I think the debates are quite good too even if they can get repetitive :(

In all seriousness - I've been her for nearly 5 years and I have no reason to leave until I lose interest. I mainly stay in the sports/games section though. I'm nothing to do with Habbo anymore.

Yeah I like how the whole thing isn't orientated around Habbo because I don't use it at all anymore. I like how (the majority) of users are British and about the same age as me, it's difficult to find another forum that meets this criteria because most "teen forums" are American.

I joined cos i played habbo but then i stopped playing habbo and now cos ive been banned like 100 times i troll the forum :)

but the american thing..
I joined an american forum once and all you hear is.. "HI IM STONED COS IM COOL AND SMOKE WEED" you can't even tell them that you're english because they'd start going all americas better than you 24/7 and then they start talking about wars to prove it (yn)

Habbox Forum has always been more than just a forum - it is a real community. Members can talk about real problems and get help. Some people I have known on here since 2005 I really consider to be friends. It's a special place with it's own unique identity. More substance than style which a lot of other forums lack.

Since i first joined in 05 i made alot of people i can and will call friends, even now when i dont enjoy the forum anymore im still drawn to visit to speak to old friends and find out how they are, The forum is ceratinly not what it used to be, however the people i can call friends will always be here, so i will always visit still from time to time.

I don't necessarily like the forum, I'm just too bone idle to move to a new forum. I dislike a fair few people on here, and only know a couple on a personal level. I usually come on the forum for TV & Film, Tech and to talk/comment on current news.

There's a lot of people here who are honestly honest and nice people. There's also interesting discussions, and I don't know about any other forums with chemistry like HxF.

i go on other forums this ones just the most fun when you wanna wind people up and also since i moved, it's closer to my..err current culture

the other three you can freely swear and stuff and it's just way better and can actually have an opinion about other users
although one is almost all boys only like 2 other girls and theyre *****s
and the other nobody takes me seriously and hates but i love that
and then the last i just have clingy gamer nerd boys and it sucks

Original reason was probably something along the lines of Habbox being the first fansite I discovered. Now I just see it as a bit like Facebook - something casual to waste time on when I'm bored. Also given that the only writing I do these days is the occasional assignment, it's probably a good idea to have somewhere like this to scribble stuff down to avoid becoming completely illiterate. :P

Habbox is awesome so what people do not like our GUIDE to rare furni they arent obligated to use it i dont own any rares and yet I use habbox (even though i am a trialist, but thats besides the point :D ) and yeah we do have our fair share of problems like with the server and obviously the forum ( i feel sorry for the members who posted like 5000+ posts ) but which great site doesnt and if we were so bad why is that we stiall have people wanting to join habbox and why are jrh's (the owner of the forum,not habbox) rooms always packed full of habbox fans. So obviously we are doing something right and if these habbox haters want to hate us let them go ahead they are entitled to an OPINION (the opposite of fact) its just what these losers believe in and plenty of times I (and once me and weirdnerd together) have stuck our necks out on the line to stick up for habbox i had dreams of becoming a hobba but seeing as i have been banned many times sticking up for habbox it's not going to happend these haters blame habbox without knowing the true facts. :mad: so YEAH WE RULE

I've always liked the normal users on here, yeah you get the ones who are full of themselves and all that but generally most are just ..well.. normal.

It was because the alts area which widely used and all alts got 10+ comments at least and people weren't douchebags and saw a crap alt and was like "ZOMG +REPPPEPROKESUHFSB THATS AMAZING" then you see alot of good ones getting "well that's crap, look at that one pixel is out".

Now it's because it's the only forum I like who isn't full of douchebags who comment on alts like "omg thats well good" to every freaking alt, you get people who won't be douchebags and don't act like complete ******* and just people who havn't lost their mind to crapbo.

I use Habbox because their are loads of brilliant competitions and events hosted on Habbo and on Habbox where you can win brilliant prizes and the staff are excellent and reliable and most of the members are talented and friendly and i fit into the forum and i cant forget to mention the brilliant djs who host radio events and just generally entertain me and i dont think their is another forum which has dj's as talented as the ones on Habbox!

Its because I joined this forum at the same time most people did. Nearly everyone doesn't play Habbo anymore and its usually just a nice play to ask questions, chat and get along really.

I'm all honesty, I think this forum is enormous! I've not long joined and I'm keeping to this section until I'm brave enough to venture further afield ;) But in all honesty, I like this place because of the many different personalities.
