Best thing to do is go to a T-Mobile shop, cancel your contract then start again

I'm not paying £260 termination fees.

Sorry i misunderstood

Sell your phone on ebay, keep the contract and just get another handset on ebay that is unlocked. The only downside would be that the insurance wont be covered for the new phone

Before you about doing this, sometimes your insurance allows you to cancel your contract earlier, so that's also worth checking out

By signing a contract you make a commitment your loss really? You have to think these through carefully...

I believe Phones4U buy phone contracts off you, providing you switch to them and choose a selected deal. I doubt it'll be a fantastic deal but it'll give you some hope.

Excuse me for going off-topic but you know, were trying to help here and excuse me if im wrong but you seem to be replying in a very rude manner (no please & thank-you's mainly). We are all trying to help you here - it's not out fault you signed a contract you didn't want, so please, be a bit more respectful when people are trying to help you

Only way is ringing T-Mobile, but then youl have termination fees.

Or like someone mentioned Phones4U. Try them.

You could give it to another family member and transfer it into their name. But thats if they want one.

If you do this the credit is still in your name. That means if you "sell" it to someone it's still your credit, you're liable. If they run up a bill and dont pay then you're credit ratings plummet and then you have a large bill you're liable to pay. T-mob might consider a transfer of ownership but it's at the network's discretion; this means they're easily capable to say no. It would literally depend on who you spoke to in cx services department.

If you do "sell" your contract on... which is unlikely... you're unlikely to make much.
Why not call up t-mob and ask for their approx. termination fee? t-mobile you can't reduce your tariff so you'll have to pay the full £225 minus vat if the contract price doesn't include vat. You can't cancel without paying the termination fee and if you don't pay anything to it you won't get another contract for at least two years.

Why not visit a phones4u store around your area and ask for a buyout? You'll be looking to go over two years and a minimum spend on £35 pound but that means you're out of your old contract and on a new. They won't cover the full buyout figure though, so expect to contribute yourself and it depends on the phone you pick.

With an Iphone, you won't get any form of buyout btw. Iphones are the only stock any provider or retailer aren't allowed to discount - a buyout is discount.
