Greetings.
I am now 16, I have a had a few relationships in my life but nothing I would consider a serious one. The longest probably spanning a few months. I never really felt anything in them. I'm currently at 6th form and went I am there and out and about I dont really see anyone I'd like to date. There are some really nice people there but nobody I can imagine myself with. Is it weird to think like this, I mean I'd rather wait until I find someone I really like and then work with that. It'll come eventually but I'd rather not get into another relationship where I'm not really into it.

Don't go with someone if you don't want to be with them, that's a bad thing and you'll only regret it later. Just wait it out and be patient, when someone comes along you will know about it :)

Its not weird because thats the way I go about it.... unless that means i'm also weird.

There are always people that you'd like to date, but their personalities are terrible, you have nothing in common, and you just generally don't like anything about each other apart from looks, you'll find some one, (most likely) anyway.

I dont know if I'm being too picky but so far I haven't really seen anyone that I like enough to ask out.

you're describing the difference between lust and love.
You have to get to know the person before you start dating them. You shouldn't base a relationship solely off of looks. Thats what gets you to talk to them, but the personality is what makes the relationship fun.

Paul,don't feel wierd :) You can't force yourself into a relationship simply and plus you're still young :P
Relax and enjoy your life :)

You aren't being picky at all.
I think it's a great attitude to have, waiting for the right person and not just dating people for the sake of it. Going out with someone you don't even really like will just get messy so just wait and I'm sure one day the right person will turn up!

I know this all sounds very cliche but someone always seems to appear when your least looking for them.
So don't go out intentionally trying to find someone to date, if your meant to be with someone, it will happen and more than likely when you least expect it to

love you lol.
Yeah Paul don't force it, if anything look for a girl you can sorta have a laugh with but dont get all serious? Bit hard to do that when youre 16 cuz all the girls act like theyre gonna "LuV u FoReVeR" etc. etc. but yeah try to make the most of being single, I do and I prefer being single now haha. If you end up in a relationship then oh well, but itll eventually happen.
nahhh it's not weird, sometimes you just don't have someone to be crushing on. I'm sure sooner or later someone will walk into your life who you think "..hello ;)" to :}

I also don't think you have anything to worry about. I didn't have a relationship at 16. Pays to be choosy I think. What's the point otherwise? :)
Yeah Paul, i'm 18 and I haven't had a serious relationship yet!
