Colours extremely bright?

My screen is strange, the colours have gone extremely bright and I don't know why.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Change the brightness and contrast on the monitor
Reset the monitor
Change the setting on the screen to analogue, then back to digital (DVI)
Unplug, then replug the cables, loose connections can normally cause colour loss or problems with the brightness and contrast
Troubleshoot with your supplier
