Can't go online with CoD 6 :(

I tried to go on CoD 6 about 1 hour ago, and it won't won't work online unless I do an update, but when I try to do the update, it pops up in the corner - "Signed out of Xbox Live". So I can't download the update :( Any help :(

You can get a card, but you can't buy 1200 from the Xbox Marketplace, I bought 1000 and 500, and it came to £12.75
