Not sure about your own region, but the weather in central scotland is absolutely shockin' lately!
How's the weather for yourself? Been suffering?
I came out of work at half nine yesterday night to find snow! I literally walked along swearing out loud and looking like I'd just lost a winning lottery ticket. It was freezing, the wind was pretty damn sore and I only had a suit on. No jacket !
I imagine that way down south is better?

Since yesterday lunchtime we've had lot's of windchill, low temperatures and lots of rain and snow. It's annoying me though. All my work clothes retain no warmth and I just look bad tempered walking about now.

Ugh. I'm so glad it's spring here. I've been so sick of the rain though. But thank god there's no more snow.

MELBOURNE'S temperature has topped 20 degrees for the past 100 days straight, the longest stretch of its type in more than 150 years of measurement.
I think that sums up melbournes weather. We have had rain hail and shine over the past 120 days (its about that long now).. Each day reaching at least 20 degrees.

Snowed all night on Monday night, woke up to find snow everywhere in my town but no where else had the snow. So much so nobody believed me and I ended up taking a picture and sent it to my friend at uni :P.
Today it seems the snow has cleared but I think I'm due another snowstorm later :( (I live in central scotland too :P)

Norwich went through a brief period of warm and sunny to lull us into a false sense of security and now its pissing it down. :(

I've seen big chunks of ice on the road and multiple tipped wheelie bins as well as a few HUGE trees being pulled up by the force of the wind.

You sound as if you are having a really bad time up there which is quite unusual for April :(

Painful. Haha, lots of heavy rain and ICE cold winds, spending most of my time outside under the hood of my car desperately trying to sort it. Haha.

the meteorologist on CTV (Canadian Television) said that this has been the warmest winter the region of Canada I'm in has experienced in more than 40 years.
Rain at the moment, but earlier this week it's been snowing, and the same as abbie said the lights in my house were flickering every so often, also my internet was down for 4hours, on wednesday. x]

This is the fourth year i've known in recent times with snow in april... and i like less than five miles from glasgow :)!
I don't understand it if i'm honest! It's just so unfair for the fact southern england gets bathed in sunshine or at least decent temperatures yet up here we get weather like bloody wintery siberia!
And i've barely seen all the surrounding mountains, crags or braes without snow on 'em. It's quite nice actually!

I'm on the west coast of Scotland and I've seen very little snow, just a lot of rain. There's been a couple of days with some nice sunshine (if still cold during it) but not the snow everyone's been hearing of in the news. It was so weird last Friday hearing about the freak weather conditions when I had lovely sunshine outside.

Trust me it's pretty cold down here. I had to stand on the front of the shop at work today whilst wearing a hoody/fleece and I was shivering. It may not be snowing but that wind is coooold!
