Whats going on?

I mean I'm trying to sell rares at habbox prices and they don't sell and the next day they go up in price.

Like I was selling emerald spacedoor at 10c, no-one would buy it, was trying to sell it for 2 days everyone was offering 5c or less then all the sudden the habbox price rocket to 25c.. and someone buys it off me for 10c

Same happened to blue laser, which I been selling at 40c per for 1-2 days, highest I had was 35c no one would buy again calling me rip off etc, then today it get priced at 9hcs and the laser sold under 5 minutes of me starting my shop.

I thought the prices goes high when a lot of people want the furni and they was prepared to pay more than the current value.

Is the market really messed up or I'm I missing something about rare's value.

I do see your point but we didn't tell you to trade at Habbox price and as we always say, Habbox is a guideline . Plus we don't make up the values, considering we've been hijacked by the Marketplace, we report what we see them traded for.

The market is messed up, there seems to be a run in with certain rares for a few days and then it dies off (Bird Bath (grey) a prime example). It also looks with a lot of rares that they have risen by a large margin when they haven't, for example if a Fire Dragon Lamp goes up by 5 credits thats 1.0 CS whereas it only used to be 0.3 CS and later on 0.5 CS. Often you will struggle to sell certain things in shops and they will sell better on the market, the same the other way around. I've seen people paying silly prices sometimes (like 5/10 C over the price) in trade rooms despite the fact om the marketplace theres like 7 waiting to be sold with rather cheap prices.

If you ever want to work out what a rare is reallky worth (as in the older prices) you just have to remember that 10 C = 1.0 CS so for example right now the Totem Planet is 10.0 CS = 50 C which means if we were to go back to January its HC price would be 5.0 CS. The same goes for any rare, just remember 1 C used to equal 0.1 CS. :)
