Remembring The 1st Ever Time You Played On Habbo Hotel. Is It Better Now Or Worse Now Then It Were Before The 1st Time You Played.

I think its worse now because they have made all these changes and i think they have spoilt it, with the credit charges, but they have some good rares comming into the catologue every now and again.

What do you think ???

It just seemed so much better, it's like they have modernised it all. They started to release all this new furni, then infamously changed the console which got everyone's back up. I know you have to update everything to potentially draw new members in, but while you have loyal members who have played for years, you should consider their

Worse, everything iconic and unique is gone tbh. Also they never actually help with stuff that's not changing your password and moderation is worse. I remember a day when you got a 2 hour for swearing at someone not a "press the ignore button". Also everything is milked with hundreds of badges, expensive furni which this then takes out the imagination in some rooms like with kitchens it used to be like stacking dragons under food or something.

Lately it seems to have just gotten worse. It could be my age, but it just seems as though everything they are doing now is just some elaborate way of making users part with their cash. For instance, the marketplace commission, increased credit prices for reduced credits, stupidly priced exchange and overpriced furni. I just hope the next updates that are supposed to bring things like this VIP club and new clothes will be good.

I'll have to say when I joined back in 2001, it was Hell'a lot more fun, and more relaxing... just great to chill out and have a laugh.
Now its seems like its all about Credits and Rare collecting. Oh how I miss those days <3

For me personnally the five most quirky features of habbo when i joined was:


The Sound, Movement and look of the console when you got a message.

The massive hand that would hold your spare furni

The rarity of having a badge other than a hc one.

Difficulty of getting a room on the popular list.

Unique amount of furni because if was different to furniture in real life.


It just seems everything has been made less iconic and all the challenge and exictment has been taken out of the game.

Yeah I agree, excluding the hand, I always hated it. Made a throne so not worthwhile. :P

its hard to figure, its updated some pretty cool features with furniture perks like the totem, but the overall of it has gone down. I agree that badges were overdone, i remember when i buzzed about getting christmas 06 one, i came back on the hotel a few weeks ago on 2qq8 and got 2 badges in 2 weeks, and the second one i didn't even mean to get i stalked chickenparmo into a don't get a carrot or w.e and won the girls badge of how to train a dragon.
