Notifications (Suggestion)

It would be nice to have some kind of notification system, similar to the facebook one. For example it should give you notifications for every thread you have created/posted in, in the last day, 2 days, 3 days etc (chosen by user by how many days back they want notifications to go back, depending on how often the forum is used by then).

The notifications should be in your user CP and when someone post in a thread you Posted in eg:

-Danube- also posted in *THREAD NAME (with link)*

or

-Danube- posted in your thread *THREAD NAME (with link)*

This could be a VIP feature, if it would be avaliable to be made. Would be a nice feature to keep upto date in what and where you have posted.

To my knowledge, this isn't possible on vB4. Nevertheless, if it was possible, I wouldn't be keen to implement it. Numerous notifications such as these would be highly annoying in my opinion. Generally I post in threads and if I am interested in any replies I will make a mental note of that thread and return to it at a late date. You can also subscribe to threads you are interested in. I personally don't see any real need for this, but thank you for making a suggestion.

i think that's a very bad idea imo. some threads can get hundreds of replies, and i don't think anyone would want that many notifications lol :P
