Well look at what I’ve just received in my inbox. I’ve just received notification that Apple will be showing something off on April 8th. In usual ambiguous Apple terms it’s pretty much an image saying ‘Get a sneak peek into the future of iPhone OS’ but then again we wouldn’t expect any more from Apple.

There’s no indication of what is happening to iPhone OS 4.0, but here at Habbox we’re surely excited, and we can’t wait till then. It’s rather surprising that Apple has announced this, especially in the hype after such a successful weekend with the iPad.

Looking back historically, we can see that during every new release of iPhone OS, there is a new iPhone sure to follow. So what could the new iPhone, and indeed the new iPhone OS 4.0 be bring us.

We’ve wanted so much from Apple in terms of features, such as background applications, not them rubbish Push Notifications, and users have even demanded widgets, like you’ll get on Windows 7 Desktop or the Mac Dashboard. So what on earth can iPhone OS 4.0 bring us. What do you want to see?

Post in the comments telling us what you’d like to see from iPhone OS 4.0

Moved by MattGarner (Assistant General Manager): Moved from 'Technology Discussion' due to it being about an OS for "Portable Devices".

It's more of an OS than a device ;)

Because I know someone who cannot stand touchscreen keyboards, I might have to use an iPhone shortly, to let them have my G1 which sports a hard-keyboard.

I don't know whether to be happy or angry.
