In this guide I will (hopefully) help you create a class that will help you improve your Kill/Death, and possibly get nukes.
Instead of just typing my favourite class, I thought I'd provide you with 10 classes, so you can experiment with your favourite.

Please note, that will all of these classes, you can customize and change the weapons, these are just my favourite and they are pretty effective.

Class 1 - "Rush"

Rushing, although sometimes seen annoying, is a great way to get kills, especially on Search & Destroy.
Many of my friends have gotten nukes on Domination using this type of class.

Primary Weapon: UMP With Silencer (Any Sub-Machine gun)
Secondary Weapon: USP With Tactical Knife (Any Pistol)
Equipment: Throwing Knife
Special Grenade: Stun Grenades

Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Lightweight/Cold-blooded/Stopping Power (Depends what you are doing i.e Tac Knife, Hiding, Shooting)
Perk 3: Ninja/Commando (Depends what you are doing i.e Hiding, Tac Knife)

Class 2 - "Hidden"

The point of this class is to rack up a large killstreak without being spotted or killed by Air Support.

Primary Weapon: M4A1 With Silencer (Any weapon at all, except silenced snipers)
Secondary Weapon: PP2000 With FMJ (Again, any weapon you want, but silenced shotguns are short-range)
Equipment: Claymore (if you are going to be in the same place for a while) or Tactical Insertion (if you are in a good hiding spot or glitch i.e the roof on Highrise)
Special Grenade: Smoke (to escape if people notice you)

Perk 1: Scavenger or One Man Army (You must have Scavenger Pro! Otherwise you won't have ANY ammo)
Perk 2: Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Ninja

[SIZE=3]Class 3 - "Attack"

I call this class "Attack" because it's my favourite, and, it includes some GREAT guns. This class is a great class to get a good killstreak, except your not hidden, so if your not good at finding good spots to go to, and then move, you might not like this class.

Primary Weapon: ACR Silencer/FMJ
Secondary Weapon: Spas-12 Foregrip (Shoots WAY too far!)
Equipment: Semtex/Frag
Special Grenade: Stun Grenades

Perk 1: Scavenger or Sleight Of Hand
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Ninja

Class 4 and 5 -"Quick-Scope/Sniper"

In this class, you will create the ultimate Quick-Scoping class. If you don't like Quick-Scoping/No-Scoping, then you can modify this class to be a good sniper class too. The first class is the Quick-Scoping version, the second is the Sniper version.

Primary Weapon: Intervention/Barret .50cal with Extended Mags
Secondary Weapon: PP2000 FMJ or M93 Raffica Akimbo
Equipment: Throwing Knife or Semtex
Special Grenade: Stun Grenades

Perk 1: Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady Aim/Commando

Only use Commando if you have it Pro. Commando Pro gives you NO falling damage, so you can do 360's etc.

Version 2 (Class 5 - "Thermal" if you want)

Primary Weapon: Intervention/Barret .50cal FMJ/Thermal
Secondary Weapon: Spas-12 Foregrip/G18 Akimbo
Equipment: Claymore/Tactical Insertion
Special Grenade: Smoke Grenade

Perk 1: Scavenger Pro/Sleight Of Hand
Perk 2: Stopping Power/Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Steady Aim Pro is really useful with a Sniper Class. It acts like Iron Lungs, and means you can hold your breath for longer.

Class 6 - "Explosive(s) #1"

This class is probably the most heavy-weapons class. With this one, you can have all the explosives you need, and, an unlimited supply!

Primary Weapon: Assault Rifles with Grenade Launcher
Secondary Weapon: One Man Army
Equipment: C4/Claymore
Special Grenade: Flash Bangs

Perk 1: One Man Army
Perk 2: Danger Close
Perk 3: Ninja
[SIZE=3]
Class 7 - "Explosive(s) #2"

This class is very similar to the previous "Explosives #1", except in this class you will be more suited for taking out Air Support, as well as people.

Primary Weapon: Any Assault Rifle with Grenade Launcher
Secondary Weapon: Stinger (if you will be taking out Air Support) or Javelin (if you will be taking out both)*
Equipment: C4 (Car Bombs) or Claymores
Special Grenade: Flash Bangs/Stun Grenades

Perk 1: Scavenger
Perk 2: Danger Close or Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Ninja

*In my mind, Stingers are alot more effective at taking out Air Support. You get more ammo, quicker lock-on and they are quicker to shoot down. Javelins shoot up in the air, then chase air support. If the Air Support releases flares, the rocket comes stright down onto the map. Plus, Javelins can kill you if they hit something on their way up into the sky.

[SIZE=3][SIZE=2][SIZE=3][SIZE=2][SIZE=3]Class 8 - "Riot Shield"

[SIZE=2]By far the most fun class to use on Search And Destroy. The riot shield is a great "weapon", not only can it cover you from fire, but it can be used as a weapon. If you use a riot shied, you should be aware of the common problems:

1) Stuns/Flash Bangs
2) Multiple Targets
3) People jumping and knifing you on the head (seriously)
4) Guns with FMJ. They seem to get through the shield
5) Semtex - VERY annoying.. try using blast shield
6) Claymores/C4/Any other explosive, including RPG and AT-4HS

As you can see, there are many things that can kill you with a Riot Shield, but as long as you can get used to them, you can be a master in no time.

Primary Weapon: Riot Shield
Secondary Weapon: Whatever you want! Common weapons are: AT-4HS, Thumper, RPG, Shotguns, Akimbo Weapons
Equipment: Throwing Knife, Claymore, Blast Shield (the best three)
Special Grenade: Stun Grenades/Smoke Grenade

Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Cold Blooded/Stopping Power/Danger Close/Light Weight (whatever best suits your class)*
Perk 3: Ninja/Commando

*If you are using a certain weapon, then you should choose the best perk, example:

-Shotgun = Stopping Power
-Thumper = Danger Close
-Tactical Knife = Light Weight
[SIZE=3]
Class 9 - "Power"

I like to call this class "Power" because it is all about the LMG's! If you are into the machine-guns, then this might be the class for you!

Primary Weapon: Any LMG - My favourite(s) are: AUG HBAR w/ Grip and RPD w/ Grip or Silencer*
Secondary Weapon: A Machine Pistol or shotgun. If you run out of ammo or need to reload you will thank yourself for putting a PP2000 with FMJ on!
Equipment: Semtex
Special Grenade: Stun Grenade

Perk 1: Sleight Of Hand/Scavenger
Perk 2: Stopping Power/Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Steady Aim/Ninja

*With all LMG, Grip can be nessessary to stop the recoil taking over your gun. Silencer is suprisingly effective on Search AND Domination. If playing S&D Bling is a good idea, Heartbeat Sensor + Silencer or Grip + Silencer etc..

[SIZE=3]Class 10 - "Level 70"

I call this class Level 70, because you have gone through 70 levels! Congratulate yourself by using the gun which I love the most.. The AK-47, this gun is incredibly powerful.

Primary Weapon: AK-47 with ANY attachment.. FMJ, Silencer - They are all good (except Grenade Launcher)
Secondary Weapon: Model 1887 Akimbo (and FMJ if you have Bling Pro on!)
Equipment: Semtex
Special Grenade: Stun Grenades

Perk 1: Scavenger/Sleight of Hand
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Ninja

Well that ends it! 10 Classes that should hopefully give you ideas on the kind of class YOU want to make.

I hope you enjoyed this, and if you havent already, you should really check out this other post:

Don't silencers reduce firepower/damage? No point of it on a "Rush" class. I also do what you said about the AK-47 though ;)
