I can't wait, I think it will be good with more competitions, and more users online at different times, it will help at times the UK hotel was quiet because of school and things, people that are not at school and stuff will have more active rooms to go to. As long as the compensation items covers the loss, I don't see what the problem would be.

Since this is the mighty Habbox, I have to ask, "Are we still left to guess about the date of the merge?" I mean, of course ive heard its this month, But i'd highly suspect a news post made on habbo, at least before it actually happened. In another note, im highly excited for the merge. I mean some people are complaining of the mass number of nooblets or people in general. But, lets be serious 89% of all habbo is noobs anyways, so whats a few more thousand?! And The US/CA etc hotels, wont be massively on when the UK is massively on, and etc. I am highly excited that Habbo will no longer have down times, and there will ALWAYS be enough people on it. I'm American, but play the UK hotel, an di see no many down times, when I prefer to be on. So, it's just a point.

I wouldn't say this is a terrible idea, the people at Sulake aren't stupid, if there are complications they'd have thought of ways around them. For example, someone said about the hotel being packed, it won't be due to different time zones & For the person complaining about their account being permed there's an easy solution, don't get permed in the first place.

ive noticed some interesting things in the hotel today.. that tell me the merge is near.
- pets with longhair, or a different spieces then what you bought them as ( changes back after afew minutes)
- "godfried's last words" -- something about it is strange.. it kinda screams merge.
- large amount of lag (nothing makes it better)
- you give someone 3 respect.. but it only shows as giving 2.. yet you have no more respect to give
- our pixel people are distorted (homepage and pages)
- random funny glitches.
- its mid-may. they said that is when merge would be.. and its soon going to be nearing the end of may.

could these be sighs the merge is almost here, perhaps tomorrow im hoping? anyone else notice anything funny/different around habbo today?

Godfried's last word i think thats the crystal patch rare release might be wrong.
Large amount of lag is due to new clothing to vips and transfering things for merge possibly?
3 Respect has been going on for ages, its if u do it too fast been like this for months.
Pixels are distorted as they havent fully updated the new clothing into the files or something happened with old ones going nked.

Probably will be a few problems going on, with the weekend being the most popular time they won't want to lose revenue over it. If the sites going up and down so on, could cause a lose of profit for the firm, i agree sometime next week is most likely now.

This is what I've been told by a Sulake employee. I don't really understand it. It might be rubbish but I thought I'd post anyway. I would post the chat logs but not allowed to do so. You may remember I posted about the merge before it was announced, that was because the same person who told me about it told me this. Anyway, I'm not sure if this is publicly known.

+ All UK Office Staff will be made redundant from their current roles (Lost_witness etc) Although, they might be offered promotions within sulake itself.

+ All Moderators have been made redundant and he said "all moderators are going to SG" - whether this means they're moderating the SG time zone or something, not sure. I think they might have been offered this or redundancy. Wasn't made clear.

+ Another thing is that the staff member who told me this originally feared Sulake was going into liquidation. I can't remember exactly what was said as he was only able to do this through text because he would've lost his job if I'd released anything. So I imagine this is the last roll of the dice.

Some of you might find it interesting. IDK if it's true but yeah :)

In fact, I was told by then current staff to write it as he wanted to leak it in a way that can't get back to him. I doubt UK will merge before SG, i think they are doing the smaller hotels first, as if something goes major wrong then there will be less complaints, less to clean up, and once they have fixed the bugs they can merge UK hopefully with no errors. Tbh i don't mind waiting, aslong as we merge smoothly.

Until the staff update the fansites pages, we're not allowed to advertise nope (neither can habbox, clubhabbo, hffm - theres going to be hell).

With the reputation Habbo staff have with fansites, that won't be for another month or two.

start_merge one i found a couple of weeks ago and the page actually worked and loaded, now it says page not found.

Actually when i asked Mods, both on .Com and .co.uk they both said either check the news or read the newsie. so no Mods are giving out times.

Doesn't surprise me if this is true tbh, they have rushed this merge. People think it has taken ages but it's only been like 2 months, it doesn't seem like long enough to plan all the out correctly and avoid such problems. They shouldnt have announced before they had finished planning, it should have been after they had done everything so that they could have actually given us an actual deadline

If your referring to the "Maintenance Break" then that's their fault. You can merge, they just haven't redirected the URL Properly. If you refresh the page about 10 times then it works, alternatively, goto this url https://www.habbo.com.sg/start_merge - and you can merge from SG

I'm not suprised they're giving you crap answers, it's not their job to know anything about the merge, and it's certainly not what the 'Call for help' system is for. The more you bug them via the system, the more pissed off they'll be. They keep the Hotel safe, they're not the ones coding it.

honestly, none of the screenies shown that say "the merge is today" or "next week" are real. no offense.. unless you got a really nice mod, that can't help but tell you.

these are all the responces ive gotten: (note, not exact saying, just shorter and a more simple version of the responces)

- thank you your issues has been solved

on my main acc i asked: "people have screenies of mods responding to the calls for help, saying the merge is today, or next week, are these screenies real"
the responce was: No, when habbo decides to announce the merge date, or more information, it will be in the "latest news". Habbo will not announce any news, to just some habbo's. It will be announced to everyone at the same time.

sorry, i dont have screenies, its kind of a waste, to take them all really.

I'm pretty sure they will merge tomorrow or wednesday, like Aj said, but because the World Cup starts Friday and I doubt they would start it before the two hotels merge. My guess would be tomorrow.
