Right so, I had RROD about two years ago, maybe longer? Dunno.

And I've got it again, same console as before. Only ever had one xbox 360.

Gone onto the repair and they want me to pay £81.60 to fix RROD.

Had xbox since 5/2006 do i really have to pay this or can i get out of it?

dont say buy new xbox, i cant afford too.

have to buy a new xbox, sorry bbz.
but in seriousness, £81.60 is stupid. have you tried all those weird towel tricks and stuff? i tried it on a rrod xbox and it worked for a week or so, gave me enough time to get the money together for a new one

You could always look on ebay for parts, and try repairing it yourself, or do what i did, and just buy an xbox with a broken disk drive, and swap the one from your rrod console, into new one?

my xbox done the rrods and so i done the towel trick, left them on for half an hour and the xbox has been working ever since.
