What will happen to my photographs?

The old photographs are likely to disappear. We know this is not very fun, but there's unfortunately no practical way to convert the old photos to work with the new client.

They did give out some form of refund for film that we had purchased and not used, but not one for photos we had already taken, which is a bit of a shame.

Sorry but that's total **. They are just images. You telling me that the multinational that is Sulake can't incorporate a section of code to source a specific image from a dedicated server used specifically for photos. Source an image just like they do for every single piece of furni within the hotel...

Well it would be nice for them to give people some sort of goodwill gesture. I am not that fussed about a refund or gifts etc as its no use to me but there is a matter of principle here surely.

All sulake give is an increase in the costs of credits and more expensive furni. You never get anything decent for free anymore and no sort of compensation for anything.

They have always been the same so no wonder they are having to cost cut by merging :o Hope they go bankrupt.

They've gotten worse. I remember when you could get 150 credits for £10 now it's £10 for 100.

£5 for 100 from my shop lol I thought I quit when the place was bad thank goodness I did leave then from what you say.

It really is stupid. I mean, even with the rude photos people took using scripting programmes, it's just silly. They could have deleted these photos AGES ago when it happened. Why don't they just REMOVE the photos as they are found? Obviously the ones people 'hide'... people aren't gonna see!?

It's a shame that Matthew's break through caused a problem so testing for Habbo staff's time and patience that they just decided they'd delete them...
I feel bad for contributing to the photo down fall with the finding and leaking of the temp file method...

Matthew did prove his Lingo knowledge by bypassing their whole photo filtering process though... pretty impressive but clearly a large enough issue that Sulake decided to delete hundreds of thousands of childhood memories for us all...
I don't play Habbo at all any more... really... but if I had logged on photos would've been the one thing I'd of been looking forward to browsing through...
