I actually like the sound of this.

So it's just a radio, which people can include on their site? That way you don't end up competing with fansites based on content, etc.

Bear in mind you'll need a license to legally broadcast copyright music. ;)

Thanks for the replys, First question no its not going to be a "Fansite" of anysort its a Online Radio Stations it will be a FULL site, People can use the radio on there site if they wish, But no we have no competition Really as there is not many online radio stations for Teenagers only at this present time, So we are looking forward to a good healthy website, I do understand i need to pay broadcasting fees, "PPL" this is in progress as we speak,

Thanks alot for the support

Wouldnt it be cheaper to rent a sever outside of the uk, some where you wouldnt need a license? At first atleast because if you radio fails to take off you're going to have lost around £200 on license fees instead of just a couple of pound on a shoutcast.

You would still require a license...

Basically you need to be licensed for every country you stream to.

I think you need two licenses just to stream to the UK and the US.

Hey, Thanks for the feedback, At the moment the money isn't a prob as i said, I'm in full time employment and have some money to "Invest", So loosing £200 is a risk i'm willing to take, :)

Good site name but you need to work on the site ALOT and come up with a really good campaign to launch the site and try to get some sponsorship from companies etc.

"I think you need two licenses just to stream to the UK and the US."

The US doesn't have the same restrictions as the UK, so no need for a license to stream here.
Although, why need a license if your server is based in the US? They can't exactly force you to pay it when it's outside of the country, can they?

if your hosted in the usa, uk rules dont apply, thats how torrent sites ect work/
