Can we please have forum for it (possibly a sub forum under 'Current Affairs')? After the election, threads can be moved into 'Current Affairs'.

I personally don't see any need to as there's little other threads in Current Affairs. Seems all good to me.

It is bound to get full of threads for election, and we all know it will, at least then i can read a thread without seeing 2 people arguing over bloody election when i am trying to read the news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Possible a prefix would be more suitable.

Current Affairs is really for news. At the moment, theres a lot of threads about the election which would be better suited in a new temporary subforum.

The majority of threads in the Current Affairs forum are politically motivated regardless, and to make something specific to the General Election rather than politics in general would be a distinction that would be kinda awkward to make in my opinion.

Lets have a Politics subforum then.

All for the Politicians subforum

But if the majority of the Current Affairs forum is politics, giving it a subforum is gonna make the main forum look bare and inactive. I don't really see any reason why it needs to change, the description clearly says it for political discussion too so it should be kinda expected.

No point in further separating the forums. It's there for politically motivated discussion amongst other things, but I don't see why it needs a dedicated section.

i think a general thread for discussion regarding the general elections should be stuck, then after the elections unstuck imo.

The forums are fine as they are, Habbox went down the route of making a forum for every tiny thing a while back and it ended up killing the forums.

What's wrong with leaving the forums as they are? If it ain't broke..

No point, it'll die down after the elections. It's kinda like when Habbo do something that gains alot of attention, and the Habbo forums get filled with similar threads, or the Tech forums having nothing but iPad discussions :P

Hence I asked for a temporary General Election forum which can be remerged after the elections. Just ensures all threads stay in one place.

For example, if I wanted to ask people who they will be voting, I will have to post it in Discuss Anything. Its only for a month and I dont see any harm.

Why would you have to post it in Discuss Anything?

I asked Garion where it would be suited best: Current Affairs or Discuss Anything. He said Discuss Anything.

Like I said, its temporary, only for a month and will do no harm. It will only benefit the forum as all election related news etc can be in one place, nice and neat and easier to discuss.

This thread (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=634953) didn't seem to cause too much of a problem, and its in a similar vein as what your poll would be. To be fair either forum could happily house it but I wouldnt say one was better than the other for it.

I don't think there's enough call or reason for it, its fine in the Current Affairs section.

can we make some sort of rule up about people turning normal threads about new into 10 page political debates while we r here? gets really annoying, every bloody there, hence why i no longer post news.

Dander; Why on earth do you feel the need to create a General Election thread in Discuss Anything despite all the replies in here. Because you didn't get your sub-forum you feel the need to sulk and create a thread in Discuss Anything. You know full well all the general election threads have been in Current Affairs :S

http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=638032

Now there is no central place for all the political threads, your being very awkward imo.

I am so so sorry! I didnt realise you were a moderator now.

I didnt realise my thread was any of these:

"Discuss the latest world affairs, news, and political developments. Also, discuss tabloids and entertainment news in the subforum."

Also you obviously didnt read my post above: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=637915&p=6404138#post6404138

The sub forum was an idea, I honestly dont care if it doesnt get added. Was just a suggestion, management said no. It doesnt mean I am going to start posting every election related thing in the Current Affairs forum as it isn't suited there. I am not like you and don't feel the need to start sulking and crying when something gets rejected.
Stop being pathetic.

http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=629281The difference is Dander, when I suggest something, it isn't rejected ;)

Those are old examples dating back to 2009 and one of them is by yourself? Plus Pyroka's thread is most of a "Post Your" thread where you C/P your answer from a website rather than to debate politics.

As you can see, all political/GE threads are in Current Affairs where they're neatly organised to find, this was stated in here and you then break the trend knowingly by posting in Discuss Anything. Now you've proved your point right because they are unorganised seeing as political threads can now be found in various places.

I think they fit where they are very well :) Theres only 2 -6 new threads posted each day so its no overflowing and remember the cream rises to the top be it be political or not.

Neither are most of my suggestions

And like I said, stop crying, I asked an admin regarding where the threads should go.
Also you obviously didnt read my post above: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=637915&p=6404138#post6404138

And heyy, I must have posted it in the right forum if no ones moved it.
