on vbulletin im kinda new to the upgrade part as its my first time
from vbulletin 3.0.7 i went to upgrade.php & it says
Step 8) Upgrade to vBulletin 3.0.0 Beta 4 Complete!
Updating Version Number to 3.0.0 Beta 4... done
i click continue and then again i clicked continue
at the bottom of forum it now says:
Powered by: vBulletin Version 3.0.0 Beta 4
Copyright ©2000 - 2005, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
is this the newest version from 3.0.7?
then again it says 3.0.0 ???
and if not how do i do thisor change it back?
then after i reloaded the upgrade.php file and it says:
Upgrade to vBulletin 3.0.0 Beta 5
so i clicked yes and went through all those pages till it was complete.
it now says powered by vbulletin 3.0.0 Beta 5
i try upgrading it again and it says:
Your vBulletin version does not appear to match with the version for which this script was created (version 3.0.0 Beta 4).
so how can i get it 2 3.5.0 or 3.0.8 using hte upgrade.php as i can not be bothered 2 upload the newest version as im p@cking to go away;/
although i may upgrade when i get back.
so im not sure if this is hte newest version if not how can i change it back 2 3.0.7
i didnt really understand most of that but it says in the members area the latest versions avaible, the latest is 3.0.8 as there where bug fixes from the 3.0.7 i think. and the latest 3.5.0 avaible is 3.5.0 Release Candidate 1 which is unstable. Plus there wasnt even a beta 5 realease as it went from beta 4 to release candidate. and if your having problems upgrading then guess what. vbulletin have there own support team :o
