Because I don't have an active credit card and my latest one on file expired, I have been banned until I add a new credit card. I have just bought a one year code, but cannot use it until I add another credit card. I'm scared that if I add another credit card, it will bill that one for one year, instead of me being able to use the code. I have tried online and have tried on the xbox to redeem, but it will not let me until I add a new credit card.
Any help? Thanks, +REP.
phone up xbl support and tell them you want to remove your credit card

Wait, the card I used to subscribe has expired so does that mean I will also be banned as soon as my XBL runs out? :S

Simaler thing happend to me. Ring up XBX Support, Ask to remove car / auto renewal, They'll cancel you're subscription and email you new subscriptions codes.
