Dont know if anybodys just watched what the gadget show are giving away for their 150th program, but my god, that was insane!
They're giving away 150 prizes for the answer to one question, all the prizes add up to over £20k.

There was like 3 HD teles, ps3, xbox 360, wii with wii fit, macbook, iphone, ipod touch, laptops, even oral b electric toothbrushes lmao.
Be amazing to win all their prizes!

Thats why they give away so much every week. And its also why the BBC are loaded (Even though The Gadget Show isn't on BBC the BBC the same as most channels do the same thing)

The Gadget Show don't pay for the prizes so anything they make from phone sales is a profit other than delivery. They are given them for advertising purposes. Think about it, Sony could pay thousands to put a Bravia ad on Channel 5 or they could give the Gadget show a Bravia tv which will cost them a few hundred at most.

I'd sell some things that are uselesss to me, get an amazing gaming style cabinet with compartments for each console, my computer and new tv.

Well they're not hte only channel 5 show that gives away big prizes. Fifth Gear used to give away cars. Some were used Porsche's, immaculate Mk2 Golf GTIs, used limited edition Imprezas.

yeah loads of shows do it. They just rely on a lot of people entering to make some money.

It's like £2 per entry isn't it, so if it's a 20k prize they only need 10k entries which I'm sure they easily get 10 fold.
