With the NLD and Manchester Derby this week it got me thinking.

What do you consider the biggest/ fiercest/ most important derby in English football?

Sunderland v Newcastle ;)

nah, Milwall v West Ham is the most fierce in England.
Can't beat Fenerbace v Galatasary in Europe though.

West Ham v Millwall is a good one because everybody expects some scrapping and what not.
Manchester derby is probs the one i look forward to the most.

I'd say Everton - Liverpool just because I support Everton... but honestly, worlds biggest derby (if we're gonna go into it), AC Milan v Inter Milan.

Biggest in the sense of competition/importance? Manchester now.
Violence? Millwall/WH.

My favourite, Newcastle - Sunderland. We always seem to get a result at their place, great to do 'em in infront of their own crowd.
The most important, this year especially, Manchester. In a few years it'll be the match that decides the Premier League title. You heard it here first.
The most fierce... Leeds vs Millwall.

The best derby in the world is in Turkey. The atmosphere is great usually, and when Fenerbache play Galatasary it goes mental.

That defines 'Vittorio', not 'arragont'.

Sounds like someone from Lord of the Rings.

I realised that. However, on the bit underneath it on google it did have the word "arragont" defined. Didn't even read the link.

arragont - 2 definitions - An unpleasant person, usually very arragont and selfish with no respect for others.

I think I'll let this one slide considering you asked so politely.

Well ours is pretty intense.

But i'd have to say that millwall westham or millwall leeds would be the worst.

Adamm

Millwall vs Leeds is not a derby.

So sue me for saying that Wolves vs West Brom was 'up there'.

Adamm

It most certainly is not the biggest, by far.

I thought Wolves vs Birmingham was bigger than that. Still not the biggest.

Millwall vs Leeds is not a derby.

It's a rivalry all the same.

In which case it's Manchester United vs Liverpool.

I'm still pretty sure the thread title says "derby". I'm welcome to be wronged though...
