Been to the cinema so much lately!

Kick-Ass and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last week, Cemetery Junction yesterday, maybe The Ghost tomorrow and Dog Tooth next week. Haven't even paid for any of those so far either, because I had 3 free films with my membership at the cinema we go to.

I think that order is the same as how good they are as well, because Kick-Ass was awesome, Dragon Tattoo was pretty amazing, Cemetery Junction was really pleasing (best way to describe it) but I'm not overly optimistic about the last two. Dog Tooth has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes but I hear that's common at such an early stage, and that it will decrease nearer release date. When I saw the trailer I didn't even think it was a serious thing but after reading about it, it sounds sort of interesting.

Also found this awesome bar in Liverpool after the movie last night, but that's a different story :P

Wow, cool. I really couldn't see how it could be a good film because the storyline just sounded boring. At least I can be a bit more confident now that it won't be a disappointment :)

It's about a guy who is really protective of his family and the kids have never been outside the fence around the garden. That's all I know really but there's supposed to be some weird twist involving the housekeeper who is the only person ever allowed in.

The bar is this old church which has been converted into an awesome cocktail bar type place.

Holy ****. Just read those reviews on Dogtooth and it sounds vastly more ****** up than I imagined. It better have some sort of point to it at the end, but as that says it lacks a story then I'm not very hopeful.

As for The Ghost, that wasn't bad. Not exactly a must-see but I did find myself laughing a fair bit, probably too much considering it's far from a comedy.

I think Iron Man 2 is the only other thing I've seen since this thread, and that was as good as I expected it to be. Nothing special though.
