Hey.
I for one have my GCSEs beginning on the 12 of may and there's obviously millions or hundreds of thousands of other teenagers taking exams this summer of some sort. Please let me know how you feel about this: is there too much pressure? Do you feel as though the government ( vote Nick Clegg ;) ) should do something about the way we are assessed for GCSEs?

Personal Opinion: I believe over the course of 2 years, students should be assessed on how much they improve, their attitude, and dedication to be successful.

Good luck everyone <3

Not feeling too bad to be honest, i was at the start of the holiday but now ive had chance to get my thoughts together im fine. If you're going to be stressed then it's a waste of time bothering because you will forget everything anyway

er no? how much we approve. we'd all fail at grammar since we took some GCSEs in year 9 meaning we are already clever enough to do them and our attitude? that means stupid people could get good grades and that's not what it's about because they are to examen your ability to retain information. I don't see why people constantly want to get exams dumbed down even more. THEY ARE MEANT TO CHALLENGE YOU. if you want a constant assessment take a BTEC or something.

and yeah i'm confident i'll do fine :)!

also you say over two years when i took my GCSE PE in one year full course so that wouldn't work :)!

I think you find it will; I took BTEC art and it lasted 2 years. Also before you reply back with 'THATS NOT P.E THOUGH' People are still doing their BTEC P.E at my school

My GCSEs started in year 9 (except english and maths). I'm in year 10 so I don't have GCSEs coming up although I have science modules. But from all my GCSE stuff so far it's been dull and pretty easy. I get Cs in maths gcse past papers without revising, I get As in my science modules without even revising. I got an A in my last English coursework where some guy done loads and I done little in comparison and I still done better so I think when it comes to my GCSEs it will be a piece of cake.

I did my GCSE's last year and they were easy as pie, I didn't revise for them hardly except in my lessons and I still passed.

In my Chemistry GCSE i drew penguins in my exam and i still got a C overall ;] so for the people who are doing them don't worry about them, just relax and do your best :)

Eight.

GCSE's arent as hard as your teachers make them out to be. Some of the exams I did I thought I failed for sure but I actually ended up passing every one of them.
