Hey,
I'm not trying to make a fuss out of something small i just find it a little stupid how if you reply to a thread saying "hahahaha" you get done for pointless posting but if you reply saying "LOOOOOOOOL" or "That made me laugh" you don't get in trouble. The only difference between "that made me laugh" and "hahahaha" is I'm not stupid enough to state the obvious.

I don't understand, could someone enlighten me by explaining how "lol" and "hahaha" are different?

for example:

My post (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=639172&p=6415534#post6415534)

These posts (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=638836)

The whole joke forum is a joke tbh. Posts shouldn't increase in there.

I agree this is something of an issue. When that rule is applied to that forum as it should be, it can create some unfair results. I am leaning toward Blinger's idea here. It may be best to remove post count in that forum, but it will be discussed.

What if we got rid of the forum and just said to post jokes in spam?

or you could just have a sub forum in spam caled "jokes"

A lot of things people find funny are already posted in spam, so to merge the two would be a good idea imo.

spam would be much better. how else do you reply to something you find funny other than "hahaha" "loool" or "lol thats funny" and all of those replies would be classed as a pointless post anywhere else, but theres nothing else you can reply with

But then you get people who will reply with something completely off topic. Try what you did with the forum games section where we trialled disabling post count first then made it permanent

I think that will be our first course of action, of course what we will have to do is archive that forum and create a totally new one otherwise people will lose all the posts they made in that forum.

I think merging Jokes and Spam is a terrible idea. I like going in the jokes section so I can read just jokes. If its merged with Spam, I doubt many people will post them or reply. No harm in keeping it the way it is.
