I live in Cardiff and we have four record shops (see below), so one or two were bound to be celebrating Record Shop Day. We have Spillers (worlds oldest, but rubbish imo), Catapult (dance, drum and bass, dubstep), Kellys (second hand, old) and DVinyl (second hand, old). So I decided with my two mates to visit Catapult (as we do every weekend) to celebrate Record Shop Day.
Catapult had big events lined up for the day including discounts, live sessions, a podcast launch, free goodies including food and sweets. The main highlight of the day was Belgian Drum and Bass producer & DJ, Netsky. He absolutely smashed it. The selection of his own and also others' from the label, Hospital was excellent and everything was done so well.
So yeah, to all you Drum and Bass heads out there. What do you think of Netsky?
